Heavy Duty Brass Plated Large Picture/Mirror Hanging kit - Plaster & Solid Walls - UP to 25KGS

I got gifted a very heavy mirror so needed some solid fittings to put it up with. These were the cheapest I could find, I was weary but they've done the job proper and after a month the mirror is still holding and it looks solid. Proper impressed.

Ring plates for back of mirror are a bit naff - cheaply pressed steel with a flash of brass plating. But they're strong, and you don't see them anyway. The hooks for the wall are more aesthetically pleasing, and also very strong. We hung a 22kg mirror, but I would be confident they could hold 40kg with good fixings.

I've used these fixtures a few times now, and would not consider using anything else to hang heavy mirrors or pictures. They are very easy to install, and as long as all the measurements taken are correct when screwing the hooks to the walls, and the 'straps' to the picture/mirror, it is very easy to ensure they always hang straight. The last mirror I hung with them was 4ft x 3ft, with a heavy frame and safety glass - no lightweight! I can recommend these as a first option.

Just the job for hanging a very heavy recently obtained mirror with large oak frame.Mirror is still on the wall and looking and feeling absolutely solid some weeks later so this clearly stands testament to the quality of the hangers and obviously my elite level wall and Rawl skills.
