Purchased to replace a set of knives purchased last year from Amazon which failed to impress. These Shan Zu blades are genuinely razor sharp and cut beautifully! Makes food preparation a pleasure, thoroughly recommended.

Bought as a Christmas present for a relative. He loved them, and has reported that they are still sharp after everyday use. IMHO ANY knife is only as good as its edge, and its ability to be sharpened properly (something I still struggle with), but these knives look very well made (not sure of the 'damask' etching to them, they are certainly not), so other than the edge, they will, I am sure, last a long time.

The knives are extremely sharp but after using them ONCE, rust spots appeared on the blade of one. Contacted the brand's customer service who took a while to respond but when they realised I wasnt going to accept anything but a replacement, the sent me a whole new set. AMAZING! Honestly the sharpest knives es I've ever bought and I will be using this brand again in the future!

Couteaux de qualité pour le quotidien.

Llevo un tiempo usando este set de cuchillos y la verdad es que me ha sorprendido mucho, sobre todo por el precio que tiene. Vienen tres piezas: un cuchillo de chef, uno universal y otro pequeño para pelar. En teoría suena a lo típico, pero la calidad del acero y el acabado marcan la diferencia. 🔝 Lo mejor • Afilado impresionante desde el primer uso. Cortan con una facilidad que da gusto; incluso tomates o pan blando los corta sin esfuerzo. • Diseño elegante con ese patrón tipo “damasco”, que le da un toque profesional. No es solo apariencia: se nota robusto y bien equilibrado. • Mango ergonómico de madera, cómodo incluso después de un rato cocinando. No resbala y el agarre es firme, algo que se agradece si cocinas a menudo. • Vienen en una caja muy cuidada, perfecta si lo quieres para regalar o simplemente para guardarlos protegidos. ⚠️ Lo que mejoraría • No son aptos para lavavajillas (como casi todos los buenos cuchillos), así que hay que lavarlos a mano y secarlos enseguida para mantenerlos perfectos. • El mango, aunque bonito, puede necesitar un poco de mimo con el tiempo (nada grave, pero conviene no dejarlo mucho en agua). • Si eres principiante, el filo impone al principio; hay que tener cuidado porque realmente cortan muchísimo. En resumen, si te gusta cocinar o simplemente quieres dejar atrás los cuchillos “que no cortan nada”, este set es una apuesta segura. Son bonitos, cómodos y, sobre todo, funcionales. Se nota que están pensados para durar. Diría que es una opción ideal tanto para aficionados exigentes como para regalar a alguien que disfrute de la cocina. 💬 Valoración personal: 9/10 — relación calidad-precio excelente y resultados de nivel profesional.

Je suis absolument ravi de ce set de couteaux SHAN ZU. Dès la première prise en main, on sent la qualité : les lames en acier poudré sont incroyablement tranchantes et gardent leur fil même après de nombreuses utilisations. La coupe est nette, précise, sans effort, que ce soit pour les légumes, la viande ou le poisson. Le design est superbe et inspire la robustesse. Les manches en bois sont non seulement élégants mais aussi très ergonomiques : la prise en main est confortable et parfaitement équilibrée, même lors d’une utilisation prolongée. Le set est idéal avec ses trois couteaux indispensables : le couteau de chef, le couteau universel et le couteau d’office. Que l’on soit cuisinier amateur ou plus expérimenté, cet ensemble couvre tous les besoins en cuisine. Franchement, le rapport qualité/prix est exceptionnel. Ces couteaux rivalisent sans problème avec des marques bien plus chères. Je recommande les yeux fermés, c’est un vrai plaisir de cuisiner avec !
