Amazing product! DIY dream
Awesome product!! The bestest ever when it comes to quality and good steel brackets - they kept it simple and it works well. I did not build the cabinet per the instructions due to the special situation of a 45° angle wall on one side, which turned this into an expert level DiY project that took a week to build. All in all it works great and I highly recommend this product to anyone willing to put in the work. The instructions state that the bed can’t be no more than 205 lbs. however that’s printed wrong. The bed must be 200lbs to avoid the Wile E Coyote catapult outcome. The hydraulics are strong and act like a mustang clutch by giving an easy movement at first til you get to 45°; then it takes a lot of force to work past that (one reviewer claimed that the strut was stuck/frozen - it turns out that that’s normal). I used a metal frame with extra legs instead of building a wood frame and ended up needing to add weight of plywood sheets underneath to keep the bed down. See pics and video. Awesome product and better than most !

Good quality, challenging to build
The hardware appears to be good quality, the instructions are a bit lacking. I’m an amateur in the workshop and I had a difficult time following the instructions. This was easily the most challenging build I’ve taken on. Very happy with the finished product. The instructions give the cut list measurements in millimeters. I wasted too much time converting everything from metric to imperial units. A real pain in the @ss. Just get a metric tape measure, it’s so much easier. Once I had all of the pieces cut and all of the hardware fitted, I really took my time assembling. About 8-10 days. Let the glue set up overnight before moving on and adding on piece. Invest in at least a couple corner clamps in addition to your regular clamps. I could not have built this otherwise. It was a very satisfying project.

The Murphy bed brackets.
Well built, I really did like it. The craftsmanship is great. The only complaint I have is in America We don’t use metric that much so it’s hard to measure the wood in metric and the manufacture didn’t take that into consideration, but the product is real good you just have to figure out some things.

Millimeter to inch
Sadly the kit is written in millimeters. Creating the transfer to inches is difficult.

Fits a horizontal bed
This a great for a diy project side bed ideas, instructions are just kind of hard to understand as it was designed with metric measurements. But mine is still in use at least twice a week

Good product for the cost
All the measurements are in metric, so buy a metric tape measure also the hydraulic rams are a pain to get on they could have engineered it better.
