. The 24-90 version of this doesn’t start the treadmill motor until I turn the potentiometer to about 40 on the dial. Will the 0-90 version fix this?

No I had the same problems, only useful if you're using the motor for something besides a treadmill.

Can this be used to slow the speed of a bench grinder ?

I wouldn’t think so. I used mine to make some small motors variable speed. It’s pretty small and I wouldn’t even try it on anything with power like a grinder.

How do you adjust the output voltage?

I’ve read nearly all of turtleherders comments and this person sounds lucky to be able to tie shoes . The rotary knob adjusts the speed … via voltage , yes .. however there are components inside that regulate the voltage to the Knob .. reaching up to 110 volts and as low as 1 volt .. then again I replaced the 10a fuse with a 30A one . Regardless .. don’t listen to this nonsense.. one comment literally asks how speed is varied.. by current or voltage limiters .. he says .. haha .. he replied . By speed .. Hahaha oh man .. hahaha
