Best shammy out there
I've purchased a few and it’s an amazing shammy. I'm a DIYer and maintain/wash all my own vehicles. I use this on my car, truck, and boat. They're a perfect size—not too big that they drag all over the place, and not too small to soak up an incredible amount of water. Every time I wring them out after use, it's like turning on the faucet. I have a few microfiber drying towels that I used to use, but they still carry water even if you wring them out well. I think this shammy holds at least 3 or 4 times the amount of water that microfiber and leather-style towels hold. And if you wring this shammy out well, it'll leave a streak-free finish every time on every surface. When you open it up for the first time, you'll find the towel in an air-sealed bag inside the container. They come damp and ready to use as soon as you unbox them. I also measured the size of the shammy on my bench, and it measured almost exactly 26" x 17".I've tried several shammy towels from Amazon and AutoZone—from the Absorber, Man Sham, or Mighty Cleaner—and I personally think that this is the softest, highest-quality, and most absorbent one I've used so far. They're gentle on paint, gel coat, and really all surfaces, and are naturally scratch-deterrent as long as you ensure they don't carry dirt from dropping on the ground or something. I recommend them for windows as well because they don't leave a residue when you wipe the window down with just the chamois. The instructions say to soak it in warm water before every use, especially if you let them dry out or drop one. It also mentions to wring it out thoroughly and then store it back in the original container in a somewhat damp state. I personally haven't had any mold problems and have had multiple stored like this for months, if not over a year, but it does seem strange to store it damp rather than hang it up and let it dry out. I like the container on this shammy the best too because it has a loop at the top to hang easily on a hook in the garage. So far, they're incredibly durable. I still have the first shammy I purchased nearly two years ago—the only reason I've purchased more is that I like to keep one in each of my cars and garage.

so far good
It comes in a bit damp and reading how to care for this it says to put it back in the container to help keep it from drying out. I never knew that we were not to let our Shammy towels dry out. I remember years ago when I had a shammy it would be put under the kitchen sink and dried out so that it was able to stand on it own without folding. Now, I know that is bad. PS I have not used this yet only had this for a week.

Greta product
Before I start keep in mind that I most likely made a mistake and it's not the product's fault. this was my first time trying this product and I was excited because one of my friends had one and it worked great. I read the instructions multiple times and am very sure I did something wrong. Nevertheless I would buy again to give it another shot because what got to me was you had to wet the towel before you dry the car so that was weird but again I saw it in action before I bought it.Give it a try for yourself and "READ THE INSTRUCTION ON THE BOX" it will help a lot.

FAR Better than the others
I bought the Champion Chamois on a tryout. I have used the traditional "animal" chamois for decades. With the improvement in fabric technologies, I believed that something man made might do as good a job. This product IS VASTLY SUPERIOR to the animal skin chamois. The absorbency, the texture and the Champion's overall strength were far and away better than the old chamois. It performed so well that, after I finished detailing my Audi, I immediately utilized the Champion Chamois on my wife's Impreza. Excellent result on both cars! And, might I add, the Audi is the Brilliant Black color that will tend to show ANY failure in detailing. I cannot recommend the Champion Chamois highly enough. A truly worthwhile product.
