This dipping sauce is on the sweeter side even though it's supposed to be a mix of sweet and savory. I can easily taste the miso flavor; it even reminds me a bit of the hoisin sauce both in flavor and thickness consistency. I didn't taste any spice or heat level to it at all. Since it was sweeter than I liked, I added a bit of soy sauce, and the resulting flavor was actually very similar to the hot pot restaurant sauce I was trying to assimilate. The end result was perfect for my spicy hot pot meat!

Thiught this would work for my dumplings and other asian dishes. Omg, the flavor is simply gross. Probably can’t return it so in the garbage it goes. Dont waste your money.
