Professional type glue
I like the slower curing. It seems to be provide a stronger bond between fittings. I have been using Weldon PVC glue for several years, and I have been happy with the results.

I’ve used Weld-On Cement for several projects and it never disappoints. The bond is incredibly strong and sets quickly, saving a lot of time and effort. The fumes are strong, so definitely work in a well-ventilated area.

ABC to PVC and meets code.
Hard to find in the local HD store, need the green for ABS to PVC. Other formulas will work but the green PROVES you used the right stuff.
