Look, I’m a sucker for the Switch Joy Cons, I like the original SNES and N64 controllers. I’d tried out a few cheap “new” controllers, and hated them. I thought I would roll the dice one last time and try this one out. FREAKING AMAZING! Great feel on the sticks and buttons (the buttons stick out a fair bit which I like), and the little memory/replay button in the middle is an actual game changer. I wanted to level up some characters in Final Fantasy VI…I just recorded moving left and right and clicking A constantly and let auto-fight go. I walked away, and 30 minutes later I come back. One character died (rip), the other 3 were up 30+ levels. You know, it’s the little things like this in life that really make you smile! :-D

What's better: contour, buttons, vibration, joystick precisionWhat's worse: joystick intuition & cosmetics, reliability, customization optionsLet's get into it.Love the weight and shape. Slightly bigger and more contoured than a Switch Pro-Con. More like an XBOX controller. Great for bigger hands/longer fingers.All the buttons are more satisfying: X-Y-A-B are mechanical with a tactile bump, L/R shoulder buttons are clicky, LZ/RZ triggers have a longer, linear spring. Even the + - 📷 🏠 buttons are easier to find, and press without looking.Vibration is INSANE. Noticably, distractingly stronger than a ProCon. Probably could decrease it, but I haven't looked into it yet because I'm enjoying it... for now.And of course the joysticks are more sensitive (obviously no stick drift, but I've never had any on any of my ProCons/JoyCons and if I did, I'd void my warranty and repair it myself). Did a side-by-side calibration and the KK2P is more precise: no dead zone in the middle. Whereas the ProCon couldn't draw a circle without touching the side. Not really important in most games, but clearly superior technology.That said, the effect of the superior joysticks is that they feel less intuitive. Games like Smash Bros and Celeste, I notice a lag in my reaction time, confirmed by a few others. The thumb pads themselves are less comfortable and (at least in white) have started to discolor and the silver paint has worn off of the bottom of the sticks after only a few weeks of normal play.Also, the stippled back plate may be a plus for some, but I'd prefer rubberized plastic like the shells extreme rate makes for ProCon. I'd also prefer black or red buttons to the white on white, if I had my druthers.And finally, the connection is not quite as reliable as a ProCon. Occasionally, maybe half a dozen times in two weeks, the controller has disconnected and had to be re-paired. Once it even started malfunctioning while playing and needed to be disconnected and reconnected. Not a deal breaker for me, but something to take into consideration.Wake from sleep and amiibo support confirmed. Works just like ProCon. I don't know or care anything about macros, but I suppose it's nice to know they're an option to explore.Conclusion: this is an interesting and exciting ProCon alternative for casual, story-based, immersive games like Zelda TotK (which is what I bought it for). The subtle design and technological choices add up to a noticably different experience. It could be made even cooler and more comfortable with some more customization options for buttons and thumb pads. Competitive gamers who rely on familiarity will likely be better off with a pro con.Update: swapped the joysticks for some much more comfortable better looking black tops. (See last picture) Now I just wish I could swap out the buttons and d-pad as well.

He tenido mandos XBOX, de pc, de switch y de todo tipo, y este sin duda, es de los mejores mandos que he tenido nunca, pedi uno al inicio que el botón de la B se me quedaba pillado lo noté en apenas 3h de juego, pedi un cambio en color blanco (lei mas reseñas que el modelo color negro tenia ese problema con los botones) y es perfecto, lo uso para movil, switch, pc, todo, es una calidad excepcional
