I use this mainly as a straight edge when cutting sheets with my circular saw. It works very well in that capacity, it is made of thick enough steel so the sole plate rides along and not up.The markings are deeply engraved so it is easy to see them when using it to measure things.Well made and a pleasure to use.

Lost on first day, thin and bent very easily, but was indented on marks which was handy for putting pen in for aligning. Probably better for people that have a big work surface to keep it flat and people that don't loose stuff as easily as me.

Been using these for years in a professional setting and domestic. I'd never be without a few of them in my toolboxes.

This ruler is amazingly clear and accurate. I have used a few rulers in the past that are nowhere near this quality. Extremely good value for the pricel.

I would not buy this product again as the quality was disappointing. Finish, flatness and ease of reading rule was disappointing and not as good as others I have owned.

Bought for my son who is more than happy with it - does what it needs to do!
