Having a Mac Mini M4 Pro, I was concerned about the reviews I've seen mentioning that heat can build on the system more than the base M4 processor, and so I looking into what else can be done to alleviate heat. This case not only helps in that regard, but it gives the Mac Mini a bit of the retro feel of the Mac Pro Cheese grater while avoiding the round holes of the old pro cheese grater directly. I am certain my wife will now know that this is a compute device and not a cheese grater, one less claim on Applcare+ will happen, so that is already a win! The case has large openings around all the USB and audio connections as well as the back panel being completely open, so that is good and not restrictive. The other thing it does is expose the power button - now I won't have to pick up the Mac Mini to power it back on from a shutdown. I'm not sure why Apple hates power buttons, maybe they hate laptop clamshell mode and they just don't want you to power things on after they've been off, but it was a headscratcher on the Mini's power button location for sure. So, heat dissipation, power button ergonomics improved, and the avoidance of being confused with a kitchen utensil are all wins here and all for less than the cost of Applecare! Oh, and they have fixed the side panel not fitting right per the earlier review - great work - almost like the Costco Salmon story - keep making things better but don't charge more! Well done and I highly recommond!

Very good build quality and the foam padding inside is very useful and a nice touch for securing the Mac mini inside. The metal also feels smooth and sturdy just like the Mac mini which was very nice. Fits on my shelf very nicely and frees up space too. Looks pretty neat too.

Very happy with this case. Solid construction, tight and precise fit, internal padding and very high quality finish, matching Apple style. Even though, it is made from pretty thick aluminum, it will not block any connections, and will NOT block WiFi! It adds some weight to computer, but, I guess, it is better for stability. I don't regret $64 spent for it. Can't find any better quality product, than this one. Do not settle for any $30 cases, get this one, and you will be happy!

This is the perfect enclosure for my Mac Mini and it looks very cool. It’s made very well and heavier than I thought it would be. Very stable and leaves plenty of room for the USB ports.

Honestly surprised at the build quality. Adds a lot of weight, so be weary about that, but it feels extremely solid and looks awesome. I also have noticed my Mac Mini doesn’t get as hot as it used to during video editing and rendering due to the fan being fully exposed now instead of the fan being on the bottom of the computer.
