Great taste
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Fantastic taste and very easy to make into the sauce. But note…it has corn syrup in it, so if you are allergic to corn syrup you might want to choose another brand.

Delicious
Yeah, yeah, I know it's a seasoning packet, but these things are good. I use them to make fajitas (duh) as well as shredded beef with other seasonings and peppers. I do have a small complaint though. Ordering them through the Pantry service is convenient, but they end up mangled upon delivery. I've never had one open, but they look like they were run over by a car. It wasn't an issue until someone was helping me make dinner and I had to explain why I order fajita seasoning online. *awkward*

I Can See Now Why This Is So Popular!
I got two of these packets back in October and it took me this long to make fajitas. First I found the perfect flank steak at about 1 1/2 pounds (up to 1 3/4 pounds would work) and put it under the broiler. I also cut up two bell peppers and one yellow onion and fried that on the stove top until cooked. Then I cut up the broiled-on-both-sides flank steak into nice slices and put them in the pan with the vegetables. Then I sprinkled on two packets of the fajita seasoning and poured in 1/2 a cup of water. In retrospect I would use less water, maybe 2 tablespoons. Each packet is supposed to be able to have 1/4 cup water but it doesn't work as well and you have to really turn up the heat to get the water to boil off. Stir, stir and stir until the liquid thickens.Anyways, it worked and we put the vegetables and steak on tortillas that had sour cream and salsa on them. Delicious. So if you are looking for an easy way to get dinner on the table fast, especially late at night, dinner is over and done in an hour. When my husband is hungry I have to get right to cooking because with him back at the gym, he needs his protein!~The Rebecca Review

Just the ticket
Our local groceries (Small rural area) don't carry this particular flavor of spice packs, but they do have a "national brand" (Don't remember if it was Taco Bell or Old El Paso) but something in those packets leaves the resulting sauce with a gummy slimy taste/texture to it. McCormick spice pack is the only one we've found that comes out perfectly without that slimy sticky flavored goo.
