Given all the low quality plastic stuff that abounds on this site it's pretty refreshing to be able to get a good quality item. Does exactly what it's sposed to and installs easily.

Great product, if you get it and think it’s loose or audio it playing weird, make sure the aux cable is pushed all the way in.

Added an aux in to my 2005 Mustang. Wanted to place an input jack in the center console container box like the factory installation of later years. However in this location, when you drill the hole, you find that there is more thickness there than what you may have expected. The typical aux in bulkhead fitting depends on drilling through very thin material to mount and will not work in this location. And by the way, it was much easier and easier to control the drilling of that hole by spinning the drill bit by hand. Be patient to get it started in the right place, wear gloves, and keep slowly spinning the bit. As it starts to dig in, you won’t believe how easy you can do it by hand. With this mounted in place the jack from the aux in box plugs into the back of this and you don’t need to have that cable hanging out somewhere. Don’t be put off that this is four conductor. When plugging in a 3 conductor jack on both sides it has perfect electrical continuity with zero crosstalk. The second sleeve does not interfere, and the tip and ring work out exactly as intended. installed in dash of 4runner with a Pioneer Navigation so I didn't have to have cables laying around poking out from behind dash. This installed in the dash and looks great. I added the complimentary cable to the Pioneer receiver to this connector and now its ready at all times without fumbling around trying to locate the loose cable.

I bought this to use as auxiliary port of sorts. The aftermarket radio in my Malibu has RCA to 3.5 adapter but I didn't want the cable always hooked to the radio. This way I can plug in the aux cable at will and it is much cleaner this way.

It is a heavy, nicely made audio component and I don’t worry that it will break or fail anytime soon, my only complaint is it protrudes from mounting surface a bit more than anticipated, but this is trivial as it functions well and I can live with a small aesthetic flaw

we drilled a hole in a blank faceplate and used this to connect an echo dot to our stereo system, worked perfect

Very sturdy, high quality jack! Dont waste your time or a plastic one.Installed into a 2005 Scion Xa, it looks very factory and works like a charm!
