This game took the right steps forward for the Mega Man series
First off, I want to point out how intuitive and easy to navigate the menus are. As soon as the game goes on and you see that really good start for the story, you are greeted by the gorgeous Mega Man 11 logo surrounded by gears, the theme of this game. Right then you are greeted with beautiful graphics made to look like a 3D anime, and that I loved so much! After checking the menus and adjusting whatever you may want to change, you start the game and begin with a bright, colorful, and honestly entertaining cut scene that begins the story of the game. You get no intro stage, which I kinda missed, but not so much since you go to that beautiful boss menu and begin your adventure as soon as you select your first boss to fight. Personally, Block Man is the best one to start with. These stages are far longer than in any other Mega Man game, even the X game stages, but the enemy placement, the beautiful graphics, the music (which is actually pretty good, though not the best in the series), and the tight and responsive controls, you will find yourself hoping some of those stages were longer. But no, please, these stages are long enough as they are. You won't find any hand-holding here; telling you what to do and how to do it. It's all up to you how you choose to move through the stages, and though frustrating at times, it ends up being satisfying once you reach that boss. The music, as I stated earlier, is not the best in the series, BUT I assure you that they are good, and some of them will have you tapping your foot while playing. Still, I have a grief and is that I didn't get my code to download the alternate musics, even though I had pre-ordered my copy months before release. The issue was acknowledged, but I still didn't get my code. This still didn't dampen my gameplay experience. And on a last note, I want to say that the voice acting may not be the best of the best, but it is GOOD! It is very very good! Mega Man's, Light's and Willy's voices, as well as Block Man's and Tundra Man's were some of the best!Oh, and I almost forgot, using amiibo is almost like cheating... and not so much either. You get random power-up items per amiibo used, you get rare items for using a Mega Man amiibo (I only have the Smash Mega Man tho), and you only get to use up to 20 amiibo once a day. Sometimes they save your life, sometimes they don't. Good thing there's Eddy too.

Mega Man's return to form, with improvements!
I'm several bosses into the game and it's been worth the wait. Controls are super tight and responsive, levels are intense, bosses are challenging. I'm enjoying the special weapons and the cosmetic appearance changes each bring. The in game item shop is back with helpful parts and items that can help mitigate difficulty but not by too much!Double Gear System is the newest twist to the classic gameplay. Power gear which enhances your buster, and Speed Gear that effectively slows things down around you. Learning to use both effectively is key to making things work in your favor, it's not an overpowered mechanic. I found level design has been polished so they demonstrate the difficulty the franchise is known for without the Gears, yet can't be cheaply run through using said Gears. Highly enjoying the multi phase boss behavior usually present in the X Series, via their use of the Gear System and general programming. My experience is based on the Normal difficulty setting. There are multiple settings off the bat, so it's approachable by newcomers and experienced players alike!Visuals are great, nice color use, backgrounds are stunning, just the overall art style gave everything a fresh look without straying too far from original designs.I'm glad they didn't go the same route with it as the last two. Admittedly the retro look eventually just needed to be put to rest at least for the time being.I'm enjoying this one more than the last two games, which is saying something since I liked 9 & 10.Overall, super fun, highly recommended. Will likely pick this up for ps4 as well to support capcom and round out the MM legacy collections on physical discs. If both collections were carts on Switch, guaranteed I'd have that by now.

A very solid and well-done Megaman game, a must-have for Megaman fans!
I'm a lifelong Megaman fan and I was really looking forward to this game, I love this game it's a fantastic Megaman game. Don't expect anything too complicated or out of this world if you love Megaman or even like Megaman this is a fantastic game. I hear some people saying that it's too hard, it's definitely not too hard I feel this games difficulty is just right. I have played every Megaman game there is to play and I can honestly say this game's difficulty is right in the middle. I have played Mega Man games that are harder and Mega Man games that are much easier. I have heard some people say that the game is too hard and that they are Mega Man 2 fans well the issue with Mega Man 2 is even though I love that game Mega Man 2 was way too easy and I could run through the game and complete it insanely fast. Then there were games like the original Mega Man that were insanely hard and very frustrating, this game is not like that and not as hard as the original. I saw people say that this game has Parts where you I saw people say that this game has Parts where you it feels like you are supposed to die, I honestly feel those people just suck at Mega Man games. If you have played Mega Man games before his game should feel right in the medium range in difficulty. I guess for people that have never played Mega Man games before or for people that really want something super easy where they can just fly through and not have to even take time to enjoy the game then they won't like the fact that it does offer a challenge. If you want an awesome Mega Man game then definitely get this game and for the price I feel it's totally worth it, it's definitely totally worth the money and totally worth having in your collection. I love Megaman and I am so happy they are continuing the series and playing this game truly made me realize that they can continue making Mega Man games and making good ones too. I truly hope Capcom continues with the Mega Man series because I love these games so much. Also would like to add that the Mega Man collection games are also a great buy because you get so much for your money. Livelong Megaman.
