I just bought an outdoor pizza oven but needed some tools to properly cook. After looking through Amazon i came across this set. Honestly i was not looking for anything high end and this looked fine for my basic needs. However yesterday i received the kit and is COMPLETELY EXCEEDED my expectations. Really high quality. The aluminum is very sturdy, but lightweight. The finish on the handles is great. Took a minute to put everything together (they even include a Phillips screwdriver with the hardware kit). Where i thought i was getting a basic kit, i ended up with a super fancy GREAT looking high-end kit! Incredible value at this price.

This works just as good as the kits that are 3 times the cost. If I could change anything I would not have the scrapper be as deep a bend. My pizza oven does not have a really high opening.

The dough slides right off when you throw the pizza in the Wood-Fired oven and the peel turns it perfectly. Creeps the stone clean when you use the cleaner

Just the right fit for our outdoor wood fired pizza oven. Very sturdy and meet all needs when cooking on it. I recommend them.

If you're a purist, you'd rather have a wooden pizza peel...they don't transmit any heat and you can get a nice sized pie on one...or turn a pie pretty easily with one. Honestly, I think I prefer the traditional wooden peel when using my home pizza oven. However, this one works just fine, especially on smaller personal sized pies since the peel itself is only 12" wide and 14" long. You do have to put this peel together as it ships in a smaller square box...it's not a big deal...the handle attaches to the peel and there is a silicone sleeve that you can put on part of the handle to protect your hand from the heat. Most times, this probably would not be an issue for you, but if you use it a lot it will get quite hot. Aluminum transmits heat very well and the tubular handle and the flat peel surface are made with anodized aluminum. (advantage to wood here). The entire tool is fairly lightweight and easy to handle, though the smaller peel surface does have some issues with larger sized pizzas. For the price it's a decent and durable option.

Nice set for a newcomer, the pizza paddle is super lightweight. The only downside is that that paddle has too many holes and you'll lose flour if you keep the pizza on it for too long.
