I am very satisfied with this device, not only because it costs approximately a third of its equivalent/competition, but also because of its benefits. I have used one for a few months and have bought my own just now. I found that Headaterm 2 is quite effective at hindering migraines if I can use it at the very early symptoms' stage. It is also very helpful when a migraine attack has progressed to a stronger stage and I need to take triptans as SOS treatment - Headaterm 2 helps the medication act a lot faster than it normally would.I have not yet used it as a preventive treatment because my daily schedule is complicated and seldom does it allow me to have the opportunity to relax and lay down for a full hour to benefit fully from the treatment. However, as Headaterm 2 is a really light device and quite comfortable to use, I am going to try to start using on a daily basis, even if I cannot complete the one-hour session entirely lying down, because, as was suggested by my neurologist, it may make a difference.The only limitation I have found is that the battery does not seem to last long. I tend to use the device at level 4 or 5 and the battery only lasts for three (one-hour) sessions. Since I am not always working at my computer station, it is a challenge to have the device charged whenever it is needed.Having said that, overall I am fully satisfied with Headaterm 2.

This device is amazing although I must admit to referring to it as the torture machine haha.I have been using it for just over a week now and using it numerous times a day for chronic migraines. I had no idea my head was that painful until I started to use this and felt the relief.It does say that you can get up to 10 uses from one strip however I have found that making sure my skin is cleaned and clean the strip afterwards, keeps it working fine. I haven't had to change it yet and have used it for quite a few hours. A bit of hand sanitiser does the trick to clean it as long as you are careful.My one gripe is the battery doesn't last long however it would be a much larger unit if it did so I am happy enough.I have noticed that the pain is not nearly as intense now that I have used it for a while so something is working. It doesn't pull so much on the muscles round my eyes and forehead so they are easing off.The box is great to keep everything together and the headband makes sure it stays in place once the stickiness has worn off a bit. No wires means that you can carry on with your day. I do tend to turn it up to what is almost intolerable but after a couple of minutes the pain isn't nearly so bad and I can relax, to a degree, again.If you suffer migraines, I wouldn't hesitate to try this rather remarkable little gadget. Any relief without medication has to be positive although it may not suit everyone.My only query really i,s if it is sold as a medical device, why is there no ability to claim zero tax but it is a Canadian product so perhaps that is the reason.

I suffer from headaches and migraines. I am always willing to try anything to improve them. It is early days with its use but I find I tolerate it well and the electrodes last well. Fingers crossed it helps long term.
