Surprisingly powerful and durable with great battery life (Milwaukee M18 batteries)
I'll admit, I wasn't expecting much from this inexpensive 6" and 8" electric chainsaw, powered by my Milwaukee M18 batteries - but I have been pleasantly surprised. I was concerned by some of the 1-star reviews, but decided to give it a try.Over two days, I've cut a surprisingly large number of Western Red Cedar limbs and rhododendrons and wild cherry and vine maples, without any problems using this saw (see what I cut in the 3 photos). I did change the chain on the second day as it was starting to wear. (When the 37 drive-tooth chains only cost about $2.25 each on Amazon, it isn't worth sharpening the old chains!).I have been surprised by how much I can cut with a single battery (When fully discharged, I'd put the discharged battery in my Milwaukee charger while using my second battery, never being without battery power). The saw easily cut through 5 plus-inch limbs with the 6" bar (I have not yet tried the 8" bar). In fact, I'd say that this saw cuts through the 5" limbs size as fast as my 21" Stihl 2-cycle saw. Plenty of power, far quieter and more convenient than using my gas-powered saw.I had no problems changing chains or adjusting chain tension. No problem with the chains loosening during use (though on first use, the chain stretches a bit, so I did tighten after the first few cuts). No problems with the 6" bar at all. The oiler worked well, and I did not experience any leakage as some have said. Battery life was excellent. My Milwaukee M18 batteries fit perfectly. Pleased I can find yet another use for my M18 batteries!

Awesome little chainsaw!
This thing is awesome! Should have bought something like this long ago.Works great for cutting up 1”-5” branches and similar. Just used it all afternoon and it kept on going using a 4 AH Dewalt battery. Reduced a giant pile of limbs to burnable lengths and is still plenty sharp. Used a Husqvarna to take down a few trees, but had a huge pile of limbs left to deal with, and that is where this thing shines. From what the spare 8” chain package says, it should be a 1/4” pitch, needing a 5/32” file size to sharpen when it gets dull. There are zero instructions for sharpening, but spare chains which hopefully will fit were only $13 for 5 of them anyhow. I was impressed that it was still cutting well at the end of the day. After using this thing one day, I won’t be without it or something similar for yard work. A lot easier, faster, and safer than getting the full size chainsaw going for this size of stuff. The oiler works well so far. The chain tensioner is easy to use. Price was right as well. Already had the Dewalt batteries so this is a no brainer.

What chain do you use with this saw?
This is a great little saw right one right out of the box. I was using the 8 inch bar and chain but the chain got dull so I ordered a new set of chains and they’re not right so I ordered another set that they said not right so I did a little bit more research and they said to order these still not right so what chain works for the saw.

Fire hazard.
Worked awesome for about 1 tree worth of small limbs. Then it would cut in and out like it wasn’t getting a good batter connection, then proceeded to smoke from the motor. Save yourself the time and spend a little more on a name brand product before this thing catches on fire in your hand.

Very well built and good performance
I have a large Milwaukee tool collection so was looking for a Milwaukee mini chainsaw. When i saw the price of this one compared to the Milwaukee, i figured it was worth the chance. I've now used this for two years around the yard including cutting limbs that are truthfully too large for this bar and it has worked flawlessly. I'm genuinely impressed with it and have subsequently bought a second one so my wife and I can work with them side by side.

Great saw
great little saw. Put it through the test yesterday, cut like a champ. went through some trees that were over 10 inches in diameter, and this was with the 6 inch blade that came on it 8inch one should be as good just 2 more inches. never failed me. did start getting warm after about 45 minutes of solid cutting, but that is to be expected for the work it did. All in all I will say it's a little beast and is very easy to handle
