Cheap and effective, if you have a place to hang it.
It's a strip of glue. If you've never used such a thing before, then this seems like an ineffective way to catch flies, but if you leave it alone for any period of time, you'll be surprised by what you find stuck to it when you come back. I don't know if it's "sufficiently" sticky, but I have multiple traps practically encrusted with flies so whatever it is, it is sticky enough. The big problem is that there are places I have an infestation but no place to attach it to; light fixtures seem best since flies like the light and will happily fly right into the trap but if you have no such place then you'll need alternate solutions.I'd take a half star away from the review if I could for that particular issue, as well as the fact that, well, it makes no bones about the fact it's basically a length of packing tape flapping in the wind and you'll be greeted with a strip of fly corpses whenever you enter a room which might be a little off-putting to say the least. I'd probably also not use this for anything save a plague of flies, the stray fly that might find in an otherwise bug-free home probably should be dealt with in a more manual method.

works Well
The TERRO T518SR Magnet Sticky Fly Paper traps have been effective in controlling fly infestations in my home. Each pack comes with 16 traps, providing ample coverage for multiple rooms. The sticky adhesive on these traps is potent, effectively capturing flies and other flying insects upon contact. They are easy to set up and dispose of, making them convenient to use. The magnet feature allows for versatile placement options, whether on windowsills, near garbage bins, or in other fly-prone areas. These traps have significantly reduced the number of flies indoors without the need for harmful chemicals or odors. However, while they work well for flies, they can sometimes catch other unintended insects or dust, which may require occasional cleaning or replacement. Overall, these fly traps from TERRO offer reliable performance and are a great option for anyone dealing with indoor fly issues.

They work!
Very sticky. I supplement the tack with a 2" piece of Scotch Tape to make sure it won't come off of the ceiling. I hang it by the light fixture in the middle of my kitchen ceiling, and within a few days, it slowly but surely gets covered with flies and moths. You have to be very careful when you hang it because the sticky stuff isn't easy to get off your hands. Before I hang it on the ceiling, I twist each end in opposite directions while I gently pull it with my hands to extend it.

Great catch!
Love these fly strips. Hung one up and by the end of the day it caught 10 flys. Super easy to set up, just be careful not to touch the sticky part as it will leave you sticky for a little bit. They work really well, definitely will continue buying these.

Works but not pet safe
It works. It’s not a magnet but if the fly touches the tape they’re good as dead

Doesnt smell and catches flies
Doesn’t smell bad and catches a lot of flies big and small. I have this in the garage and it’s caught a ton of flies in a couple weeks and even a few spiders. Comes with pin attached for hanging as most fly traps like this do

FANTASTIC
I didn’t have much hope for these but they are fantastic. I had a few house flies and these got rid of them within a few hours. Whatever they have on the strips attract them to it and the fly sticks to the strip and dies. I tried white vinegar which did nothing and I have an expensive machine that I got off QVC that was supposed to attract and trap flying insects but did little. These are great and at a great price.
