Volvik Crystal Golf Balls

I like having a mix of balls in my bag. Some are for distance while others are for controllability. Volvik gives me great control but lacks a little on the yardage (I find). The muted and/or off colors make it easy to discern my ball and it’s location. Marks and marring aren’t as prevalent as typical balls and these hold up to repeated abuse and still look good. The prices on these are high but competitive on Amazon versus a pro shop. My greatest like is control and my greatest dislike is cost. All in all, this is a usable ball worthy of anyone’s game.

I purchased a dozen of the Volvik golf balls because teaching pro Paul Wilson of Ignition Golf.com uses them. Had never heard of them before. I was amazed on how smooth the ball is with dimples smoother and less pronounced than other quality balls. They are very easy to see with a white glowing appearance, and if you are in the rough a lot as I am, finding them is much easier than other balls. I would definitely purchase them again. I play golf about once a week. I will not use these nice balls on water holes or holes where there is a likelihood of my losing a ball. They are worth saving for the more wide open holes and make really good balls for putting and around the green.

I'm pretty early in the neverending process of learning The Game. So I can't provide much in the way of deep thoughts about feel, range, or how these balls respond to coriolis forces with cast vs. forged clubs. They feel really good to me, and when I do my part they give me good results.But don't get the blue. It's amazing how easily the blue gets lost in the sky (no surprise, really) AND in grass, especially at a distance. The guy in the pro shop who told me nothing shows up like good old white is probably right, darn it.So don't get blue balls.

I really like Volvik Crystal golf balls. they come off my club face well, and I can always find them on the fairway or even in the rough because the colors are so easy to see. For reference, I am a 74 year old female who hits pretty straight drives but will not win any "longest drive" awards. These balls also roll really straight when I putt. These are an excellent choice for me.

LOVE these balls. They do not bite as well as chrome soft but do come off the club with a soft feel. I hit these farther off the tee than any ball. Durable and easy to see. I use the green color. They putt very true also and have nice click and feel off of the putter.

I really enjoy playing with these balls because of the following:1. Due to their color they are not confused with others.2. In the golf course where I usually play there are trees whose back of its leaves are near white, so the white balls tend to get lost easier.3. I am an amateur player but I could say that its distance may be better than the one I get with Taylormade

These balls seem to add distance to my game, and they are easy to find when light hits the "crystal" surface!
