Giinii 8" Digital LCD Photo Frame, Brown

I am very pleased with this digital photo frame. It serves its purpose well. I have not saved files directly on the frame And do not intend to do so. I save photo files on USB flash drives which allows me to easily switch out pictures depending on the photos I want to share at any particular time. I display the frame in my work office. The size of the frame appears more substantial than the measurements indicated. Although the capabilities of the frame aren’t as advanced as some digital frames offer (much more costly frames); it serves my purpose very well. The wood grain frame is nice and it looks like a quality piece. I like the mat feature. For this price range, you really cannot go wrong if you intend on using a flash drive to store your high quality files. I have not experienced any problems with photo orientation.

What a great bargain! We purchased this digital frame as a gift for my 90 year old mother-in-law. She loves having pictures of the grandchildren & families but felt she was out of room to display them. We purchased a different brand on sale at a local store but it didn't hold nearly as many pictures as the Gini we have at home. We were a little nervous about the order because the price was so low compared to the store prices for Gini but it arrived quickly and was in perfect condition.

The Giinii 8" LCD Photo frame is a very good frame that enables you to download pictures on its hard drive or show pictures on a memory card. The pictures are very clear and it has numerous settings to show your pictures including a random showing which rotates the order. I purchased 3 of these frames for my children and downloaded family pictures for Christmas last year, and they all loved it. I would recommend this frame to anyone looking for a special gift and to show off any special pictures for themselves.

I purchased this frame for my mother for Christmas. She had one years ago and loved it and I found it again on Amazon. It has a clock and date on it with a nightlight. She uses that instead of the pictures on it. She loves it.

So thrilled to find this product online at a bargain. Disappointed when it arrived. The picture frame is advertised at 8" but 2" of that is matting, so actual screen size is 6". The picture quality is poor and I was looking for the more vibrant colors as illustrated in my photographs. Pictures looked washed out. Be sure to note the pixel size, (800 X 600 resolution), which I did not take into account.I would not recommend.

This is a fantasatic digital frame. It is very nice looking and user friendly. I bought 3 of these because I was so happy with the first one.

I have the 10" digital frame which has given me several years of great service, the picture quality is good, it has a lot of nice features, etc. However, it often freezes these days, at least once a week, and I have to reboot it by unplugging it, waiting 20-30 seconds, plugging it in again and restarting it. It then starts back at the beginning not with the photo it froze on.The reason I'm writing this review today is that when I called their number to get some troubleshooting advice I'm stuck on an endless hold listening to them say "Your call is very important to us, please wait for the next agent." Apparently it's not that important because I've been on hold now for over 45 minutes. I'm only staying on to see if anyone ever answers. I'm thinking probably not, but just curious.So, it's a good frame as long as you never need any customer support from Giinii, because then you're screwed.I will not buy this brand again.
