Bluetooth mode is separate from Music mode, but that's OK!
These headphones, generic as they are, fit a specific need I have that none of my other headsets can. The power cord also connects the headset as a storage device. You can put up to 8000 (roughly) songs on it in MP3 format. It's a bit annoying that the songs have to be all in the root folder. I keep my music in separate folders by artist and album, so I had to do it by hand, selecting the song files and copying them directly to the headset. It has 32 GB of space, which doesn't sound like much. But the collection I put together from my song archives considering of my favorites and semi-favorites, was only 4.8 GB, in 715 songs. But any limitations there are made up for in the playback. I wanted a music device that played quietly so as to not disturb others, with a shuffle feature, so it can just run until I stop it. This is because I use distraction-free (read Internet free) writing tools, so I can concentrate on my writing and NOT on the net. This headset fulfills this role perfectly. When it is in TF mode, aka Music mode, it is not connected to my phone or any other Bluetooth device. Phone calls will ring on my phone, and on my smartwatch, but not in my ears. The headset doesn't get these calls when playing music. I can put my phone in my pocket or bag and ignore it, and just write. I would otherwise play the music on my phone, which opens me up to notifications, desire to look things up and get sucked into a rabbit hole, or "I just need to read this ONE EMAIL," followed by sixty more, and an hour of YouTube Shorts and doomscrolling on X. This is a totally portable solution that can be switched back to network mode with a couple of taps on a button. The only thing I wish it had was an option to buy additional power cables. If the one I have gets broken, I'm stuck. I'd like to have one upstairs, one downstairs, and one in my bag with my word processor. And maybe a few more in storage, because if the one I have dies, I can't even recharge the headset, and I don't like the idea of having to buy another headset just to get a power cable. So there's my only complaint. Update: I found another seller that has the power cables. This seller was very kind and offered me a cable they had on hand from a returned item, but I had already found this seller: https://a.co/d/aA0n4yx I said I would give them 5 stars, but I forgot I already had, so please consider this an invisible 6th star!

Shuffle Mode!
These is the first pair of headphones with memory I've bought that have a "shuffle" or "random" mode. I really like that. They are comfortable and they sound good.

Not the best quality.
This is cheap quality and the sound is very low. It's good for swimming. I wish it was better sound and less flimsy.

CUSTOM, UNREPLACEABLE CHARGING CABLE. USELESS WHEN IT IS LOST.
This is my first bone-conduction headphone so I don't know what the technology is capable of. In the box you get the headphones, a carry bag, retention strap, ear plugs, a manual, and a proprietary USB cable. I'm not sure of the purpose of the ear plugs, isn't the point of bone conduction that you can still hear ambient sounds? I'm also not sure what the retention strap is for either. The headphone stay place extremely well, even when I knock my head back to drain the dregs from a Red Bull. It's also far more comfortable than earphones and avoids the sweaty ear problem of over-the-ear headphones. The sound quality is acceptable, there is some distortion at the high end and the bass is underwhelming. Considering the device isn't sitting in your ear, the quality is better than I expected. I wish more runners and cyclists would use something like this so they could react to other road users. The instruction manual is actually useful and the English isn't so poor as to be unintelligible. It has several features I really like such as an on-request verbal battery level message and the ability to toggle from sequential to random play mode. I got over nine hours of play time before the first low-battery warning and it was still running after ten hours. The only reason it does not get five stars is the proprietary USB cable. There's room in the device for a micro or C type USB port but they use a magnetic attachment. If you lose it or it breaks you have to throw the entire headphone away. The USB transfer rate I got was less than 1M/min - it took 4 hours to transfer 8Gb of music. This is the transfer rate we got with USB 2.0. So, yes, one star off for the cable. Update: I contacted the seller and they confirmed they do not sell spare or replacement USB cables so that's bad. Update 2: As I feared I have lost the custom charging cable and have no way to replace it so these are now useless. DO NOT BUY!

Will not reconnect to the desktop.
I loaded some music on the headphones and they work fine, however when I plug them into my desktop to load more music they are not recognized by the computer. I can not figure it out so I am returning them.
