Fun and easy to learn, once you get the basic rules you start playing faster, the strategy is simple but important and could backfire, it’s made out of quality stones and the dices are pretty well built, easy to carry and have fun everywhere, if you love parchis this game is for you, as my parents loved it.

This is such a fun game! It is of nice quality, it's easy to learn and it's small enough to travel with. My whole family enjoys this. Got it for my elderly parents who like to play quick games in the evening but don't have the bandwidth for complicated or long games, and this fits the bill. I think this could be learned by kids ages 8 and up but is also fun for adults. The design is fun and the game time is reasonably quick!

This quickly became one of our favorite family games! As a family, we always loved playing Sorry. This is a similar game , just a different layout and it’s only for two players. But if you’ve ever played Sorry you will easily pick up on the rules and strategies this game. The first thing we love about Ur is that the games involve luck AND strategy. So it doesn’t really matter if you’ve played once or 100 times! Anyone can win! We also love that a typical game only takes around 10-15 minutes. It really is fast and fun! The design of the game is also very nice. The game board is cloth. You almost feel like you are unfurling an ancient scroll when you get it out to play (my daughter actually commented that the cloth board would look very nice hanging on the wall as a tapestry). And the dice have a quirky shape so they also have an old, rustic look to them. The design is fitting because the box says the game dates back to 2600BC! All of the game pieces are smooth and feel good in your hand. Overall this is a 5 star purchase that has, and will continue to bring a lot of fun to our family game nights! Highly recommended!!!

This is a fun little game. It's a 2 player game that involves both strategy and luck. The rules are easy to remember, the dice are neat, and the board is a thick cloth.I would recommend playing this with anyone who is a good sport, (you might get to knock one of their pieces off the board, don't worry, as long as the game is going, they can start that piece at the beginning again).This is a winner for our family. It's also our third game from Stellar.We also have Strawberry Sunset which is a thoughtful planning card game and Ravine which is a bit crazy, so extra fun with the right players.

This is a great 2 player game that you can learn very quickly. I play with my teenage son, but I think younger kids (8-10 year olds) would have no trouble with it. There is some level of strategy, but there’s also a lot of chance. Bonus - as someone who has an overflowing game drawer, I appreciate that this one does not take up much space!
