Sharp, sturdy, and perfect for palms and tough yard work!
These GARDENA pruning shears are excellent! The blades are razor sharp and make clean cuts on everything from my Areca and Pygmy Date palms to bougainvillea and other yard plants. The grip feels sturdy and comfortable, and you can really tell they’re made with quality. Perfect balance of heavy-duty strength and precision. The lock mechanism clicks smoothly and feels secure, so I never worry about them opening when I don’t want them to. They’re lightweight but well-balanced, easy to pop open with one hand, and the sleek design makes them great to use. Definitely my go-to clippers now!

Good quality, excellent for small hands
LOVE that these are made in Germany. Price was good. Very good fit for my small hands. TIme will tell how long these hold up, but I'm hopeful.

Arrived without an edge
I prune grapevines every spring, so I am familiar with other commercial brands. I took a chance on these because they are made in Germany and had a high star rating. I was disappointed to say the least when these arrived dull. I may change my rating after I use them, but not a good sign when I can run my thumb over both edges without cutting myself.

Good product for the money, I think
I am a long time gardener and my favorite tool is the hand pruner. I am a fan of Gardena brand products and purchased my first Gardena pruners in Rattvik, Sweden in 2001. I am still using them today. I am sorry to see more plastic on these pruners, but still feel they are a good product for the money. We'll see how they hold up!
