It’s way faster than doing it by hand, and everything comes out really even. It’s strong, not too loud, and super easy to clean, which matters a lot to me. I just rinse the parts and wipe down the base. Took me maybe five minutes to figure out how everything works. If you cook often or just want to stop fighting with a grater, get this.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I had been wanting one of these forever but had only seen the annual type you have to crank. Being someone with mobility and dexterity issues it makes it hard to do those movements. This electric version makes it so easy. I love that the blades are dual sides in the tube so that nothing is just knocking around. It's made well, noh very loud and a quality item. I did wavy potato chips and they were amazing.

So far I really like it is shreds really good but you have to be careful to empty it out in between otherwise the cheese gets crammed in there.
