I bought this not expecting this high quality product. I work construction and I put this on last night, it lasted through my whole night sleep and through a 11 hour work day of wearing a hard hat and my hair looks the exact same as when I styled it. 10/10

Goopy mess of a product. Not sure what the purpose of this clay is exactly. It doesn't give any hold, it doesn't give any volume even with blow-drying. Leave my hair with an ugly shiny finish certainly not a matte finish. Leave my hair wavy unmanageable. There is no way this stuff is viral on any social media that's clearly a lie. I can name at least 5 different clays that work 1000 times better.

First of all, this BlackMask hair clay smells great, with a mix of coconut and vanilla scent, which is not too strong. It almost smells a little like a cookie, but not as sweet. It is pliable like a thick lotion/paste, so it's easy to manipulate and spread through my short hair, thick, and straight hair. It is pretty similar to other clay/pomades I use. The hold is enough to last all day with regular activity (we live at 7000 feet with about 20% humidity) without flaking, and the matte finish keeps it from being to shiny. It's hard to tell if it works with heavy workouts since I always wear a hat anyway. It also rinsed off my hands easily with just water, and shampooed out cleanly.I really like this product and would buy it again.

Tbh black mask is a decent brand, but there texture powder makes my hair white sometimes even when I don't try to add much. The clay is prob the best thing they made as a lot won't leave your hair looking a different color. Nor would mess it up, it does do all the hairstyles I need like the middle part and my fringe. Didn't come in broken either and that is expected by this brand. Never had a bad batch. Also very easy to wash out, holds well, and is sticky but not as much. Definitely worth the value.

You take a small amount in your hand and apply it to your hair, easily styling it. It styles with a textured look and without an oily shine on your hair. It holds the style all day long and definitely does not make your hair stiff.
