Spice Rack arrived in perfect condition. I am giving 5 stars because it was exactly as described, arrived in great condition, and accomplished the task of organizing my spices. Rack looks good, rubber feet provide stability on my countertop, and nothing to assemble except for placing the stickers on lids. There was no reason to give less than 5 stars. Now here is a wish list of improvements to make the product even better. Lots of stickers but only one for each spice. You mess up on one sticker you are screwed. Will need to hand write one with the included marker. Would be nice to have common spices with two stickers in case I wanted to use two jars. The funnel provided is rubber and spices stick to it. Needs to be plastic. I quit using it and used my own funnel. I wish bottles were 5 oz. and not the 4 oz. So many spices were left with just a tad more to put in the bottle. Lastly, the included plastic covers under the lid are adequate but a few spices really need larger holes than the ones provided. These will work but will take a lot of shaking. I saw one rack that provided some plastic covers that had large holes. I like the rack and not disappointed. Might buy another if I can find a place to hang both.

I ordered this product, understanding that I would be able to store 36 jars of spices on it. When I received the order, I noticed that there were not enough spaces for 36 jars, as shown in the pictures. However, there was a note inserted in it that indicated that it should accommodate 36 jars. Look at the pictures in the ad. But when you got it, it was stuffed with Styrofoam with about five or six spaces for a bottles. I automatically assumed that that was the way they would all fit. As it turns out, what appears to be only enough room for 24 or 25 Bottles, is actually big enough for 36! The reason for my confusion is that they presented for Styrofoam containers filled with the glass bottles and equal spacing. Therefore racks therefore I thought before Styrofoam strips with bottles was a presentation of that would be. But that’s not the case. ends up, that this particular rack is precisely what I’ve been looking for. It will accommodate round or square jars of a variety of sizes. It is perfect for my needs. So, you can use the jars today send it have a nice pretty and uniform, or you can use it immediately placing the jars on it that you already have. let’s see the rack itself seems to be very well-made, I chose the silver which is a soft color and very nice it seems sturdy and I think it will last as long as I want to use it. I gave the racket self five stars and the quality of the jars lids and labels. The item was also very well packaged. Each jar was one case separately in a Styrofoam strip, for strips at all, where and the rack itself has no defects of any type of support. Also appears that you can fasten it to the wall if you want to, although I have mine standing freely on the countertop. Does it also comes with a very nice silicone ceiling funnel make it easier to transfer your spices from your jars or ones that are brand new that you just bought if you want to make them all uniform and put them in the jars provided us in the order. I recommend this item. And it was a reasonable price.

I can't even express the joy this spice organizing system has brought me. I am a bit neurotic when it comes to my spice collection - I actually purchased 4 of these items to set up in my pantry. I am still working on getting everything transferred to the new jars, but I have filled up 2.5 of the racks with so many more spices still to go - I might end up needing to purchase a 5th one. I have tried so many different spice organization systems and have never found one that I like. - First of all because I have such an extensive collection of spices and seasonings and a 12-20 spinning rack simply won't cut it for me. - Secondly, I can't use pull out drawer organizers because, well, who has enough drawer space to give up for spices? Finding this spice rack that compactly holds 36 full size jars with no wasted space is life-changing for my pantry! No more will I have 2 shelves full of random jars and bottles that I have to move around and shuffle through trying to find the one random spice that I know is buried in there, somewhere. And no longer will I end up thinking I don't have the one I need and buying more, only to later find I already had 2 jars hiding in the back corner! Don't even get me started on the huge quantity of labels that are included with this set! They provide preprinted labels for just about every individual spice and herb I can think of as well as some popular combination seasonings (Old Bay, Jerk, Seasoned Salt, etc.) Also included are a bunch of blank labels and a marker for labeling items that they haven't included. My only "wish" in this area is that it wasn't a "chalk" marker. It is easy to smear and I fear how well my hand written labels will hold up over time - that remains to be seen. The whole set up is quite solidly made, and simple metal rack with no extraneous design elements that just waste shelf space. It has what can be used as handles on the top so if the whole rack needs to be moved, it is a simple matter to pick up the whole set and place it where it needs to go. The sets came very well packaged with very minimal damage to anything. I have found about 4 jars that have slightly dented lids. Not in any way a functional problem. Jars and racks are all in pristine condition. I bought my sets at a time there was a discount attached, so each rack and set of 36 jars cost me only $30, and I am going to save so much time now that I am organized and save money not buying repeat spices - it is totally worth every penny! Once I am completely set up and organized I will come back and add a picture of everything placed in my pantry - I promise I wasn't paid to promote this item, I am just totally fangirling over my new spice system!

My husband and I live in a small 900 square foot apartment and we have been keeping spices in a drawer. It was a fine approach but of course I would organize them how I liked and then whenever he would use a spice for dinner, somehow the removal of one single spice meant everything else had to get rearranged and it drove me insane. (Married hetero ladies, IYKYK...) I also took cooking classes finally (GAME CHANGER) and learned how to really incorporate spices properly, so we have been acquiring more and more. THEN I took a virtual organizing class (free through Yelp!) and the woman explained how you should decant everything, including your spices. I dunno if I am gonna decant EVERYTHING but it didn't finally inspire me to do something about our situation so I bought this spice rack. I love ittttt. I bought the 36-spice rack because we had about 20-something spices and I wanted to leave room to grow. It's been a few weeks since I did this project and I am now up to 32 spices/herbs with only 4 open bottles left. So definitely buy bigger than you think you need! Filling and labeling the jars... First I put all the glass jars in the dishwasher and let them dry. I hand washed the plastic shaker inserts and lids. (Recommend using a collander for this because the inserts are so lightweight it seems easy to lose one down the drain.) Once everything was dry, I started filling! I used the included funnel but a lot of the spices stuck to the silicon and it was annoying. Rolling a piece of paper into a funnel worked much better for the finer spices. I also tried to work in batches that wouldn't impact each other too much if I didn't clean between every fill - e.g.: do cloves, then nutmeg, then cinnamon, then pumpkin pie spice - they're all substitutes for each other anyway so if something gets in another one, no harm! I love that the labels come with practically any spice you can think of, as well as some blanks. They are easy to apply and remove - I know because I was a bit of a perfectionist in applying them and had to peel a couple off here and there to try again. Hanging it up... We decided to hang it under a little island/counter thing in the middle of the kitchen. It's great to have the extra counter space but since the counter thing is so thin, it's almost like wasted space to us where we just toss cases of beverages underneath... we don't own or we might install shelves. It's an awkward space. Hanging the spice rack under there helps us use that awkward space and makes it easy to access while we are prepping on top of it or cooking opposite it. And since the jars tilt up when they lay in the rack, having it hang low is not a problem because we can still see all the labels! One side of the rack hangs in a stud and the other side is in drywall so we used the included screws and anchors no problem. It's been a few weeks and it hasn't budged. (Pro tip: charge your drill while you clean, fill, and label the jars!) I didn't need the little rubber feet included but in case I need them in the future, I clipped them on the bottom for safe keeping. Now when we need spices, I buy in bulk from a local organic store (MOM's, but I am sure Whole Foods does this too?). I feel like this is reducing waste and encouraging me to use all of these flavors! Overall suuuuuper happy with this purchase! This is a great investment to make in your kitchen and you will not regret it (unless you don't buy a big enough rack, perhaps). It would be even more amazing if the top of the rack had a little shelf. We kept a couple spice grinders for the added freshness and I sit them on the top row of spices but it's not exactly sturdy. If these are stackable and the shelf would get in the way, then maybe a clip-on removable thing.
