Seems pretty good except the light stand is really terrible. The first 2 extensions are fine but the third extension does not stay in place, so the light just slides down and won't work for plants once they grow tall. There is no locking mechanism and it is built poorly. Everything else about this is satisfactory but this really gave me buyers remorse as it's basically broken out of the box if you want to grow a tall plant. I didn't discover this until after I grew 10 seedlings so how can I return it? Very disappointed.

Perfect set-up for indoor herbs! We have so many wandering neighborhood cats, wild rabbits and assorted other wildlife that it makes growing herbs outdoors nearly impossible. This beautiful hydroponics grower will keep it sanitary, controlled, and available year-round! I was so pleased to see that it arrived with everything you need, but the seeds. It was extremely simple to set up and start our first indoor garden. We look forward to watching everything sprout knowing that it’s going to be successful due to its perfectly regulated environment. It’s so sleek and beautiful that my kids argued who got to display it on their shelf. This machine felt high quality so I’m sure we’ll have many more years to enjoy it!

I recently purchased this hydroponic system and am very pleased with the purchase so far. Assembly was easy - everything is intuitive, the instructions are simple. The design is neat, takes up little space and looks great on the windowsill.I would like to separately note the convenience of planting seeds. The kit includes everything you need: baskets for planting, sponges where it is convenient to place seeds, and even stickers for signatures. I installed it in the holes, filled it with water, added a nutrient solution - everything took literally 10-15 minutes. It is very convenient that you do not have to get dirty with soil.The system works quietly, and the light can be adjusted in height depending on the growth of the plants. Ideal for beginners.

With such a low price, I should have known. This unit does not use a water pump; it uses a mister. Within two weeks of setting up the unit, the mister stopped working. The mister is an ultrasonic one like those used on small humidifiers - actually, quite clever. Upon opening the bottom to inspect the transducer and determine if it could be replaced (I am an electronics professional), I found that the positive power wire had burned in half, completely separated. Usually, I would say, "Oh well," but it was separated with burn markings; in other words, the wire had gotten so hot that it melted. This is a serious fire hazard. When it worked, it worked.
