This is a great value for a really nice rod, dual tips. Im impressed with the handle and this rod casts effortlessly. Only used for trout so far, but it handled 1 17 inch fat rainbow perfectly. Very fun and a pleasure to fish with. Sensitive, with backbone. Have been using med lite tip and very pleased

Light, comfortable, and easy to cast all day. The two tips make it super versatile, so I don’t have to bring multiple rods. Feels solid but not heavy, and the grip is really comfortable. Casts smoothly, handles different setups well, and just overall feels like a quality rod. Definitely worth it!

I wanted to provide some additional info that might help in your purchase decision. First the rod came in a sturdy tubular container. I’m keeping the container for off-season storage and travel to prevent inadvertent damage. I noticed the o-ring guides were perfectly aligned and of high quality. The rod feels light and looks well made. The second tip allows me to easily target different species by just switching tips and changing reel spools wound with different weight line. I like that versatility. The best part is you get a lot of bang for the buck with the price point.

This kastking two piece rod is lightweight, but very sturdy. I will buy it again for sure.

Don’t buy it, one of 5 casts the line get stuck on the drop shot hook keeper thing, it’s annoying how you have to cast it very carefully to avoid the line get stuck on it.Don’t waste your money on it.

I am a Kastking fan. I have Kastking braid on my surf reels. I use a kastking reel on my trout set up. I'm a big fan of the sunglasses. This Rod doesn't disappoint. It has the look and feel of more expensive rods. The quality,feel and value are exceptional. Well packaged. I can't wait for the warmer weather so I can try it out.

I bought this rod for a combo spinning set-up and I loved it so much I ordered another one for my son! It is a great looking rod with green anodized accents PLUS it comes with two tips! One if a Medium and the other is a medium light, so you can use one rod blank for multiple fishing styles just by switching out the tips! Ingenious idea from KastKing! I paired it with a KastKing Zephyr Spinning Reel in size 2000 and it is a banger for under $100. Then I loaded it with KastKing 8lb 4-strand braid and man o man, what a set-up! Buy it!
