Threshold itself is great, but it may not solve less obvious sources of your garage problems
This threshold appear to be working as expected, it appears to be high quality and I think it's great that it comes with sealant. I installed the threshold differently than pictured. The pictures show the lip on the outside. However, I've seen rainfall hit the door and run down the door, and I felt that would cause water to collect between the lip and the door. So I put the lip on the inside. Installing the threshold does rather presume that the water or debris you are trying to prevent from coming in the garage is coming from the door end of the garage. I discovered that at least some of the water was coming in the side of the garage, and then this threshold appeared to be holding it in. That is not a failing of this threshold, but it means this threshold alone does not solve my garage dampness problems. So now I will be looking to install drainage along one side of my garage.

Not for northern climates???
Quality construction. The material of the seal itself is very good and flexible. Seems like a very good extrusion and I like the design and thickness. I would suggest ordering 20’ even if you need only 16’ or less as it’s wound in a circle and the last couple foot of material on the inside of the circle is just about permanently bent and won’t lay flat. Maybe some heat from something like boiling water would work to straighten out though?Came with no instructions, which is a bit of a disappointment. The product listing says clean the surface… with? Even a simple ‘best practices’ sheet would have been nice. The silicone sealant was of recent production but it says not to use on surfaces with temperature below 4°C. That’s about 40°F! What? I live in Michigan… it’s below 40°F about half the year. I guess we’ll see how long it lasts… :/

Threshold is great, heavy and solid. I got some E6000 to put it down though.
The threshold is great, heavy and solid. I got some E6000 to put it down though, as the adhesive they provided appears just to be a silicone type caulk. Make sure you clean the surface really well, especially if it is older.

Instal is Key
This was a good addition to our garage. We have a 2 car wide door and this had enough extra to trim both sides. Huge hint, do yourself a favor and get a brand new utility blade, it cuts like butter and easy to get clean edges and cuts. Also, install with the smooth side out and ridges side in towards the garage. Also, it is helpful to use a chalk line to get it straight before you glue it down. And, lay it flat for a few days before cutting and gluing down as the rolls will flatten out. All that, and it goes down wellMy neighbor liked it enough to order his own. The rubber is thick and durable. Glue works well to keep it secure. Time will tell if it holds up to the weather & elements

Great thick rubber quality
The media could not be loaded. This 16 foot garage door bottom seal strip is great quality. They included two adhesives tubes for installation. There weren't any directions so I did a little research. What I found out is that the concrete should be dry for at least seven days. What I learned is that if the concrete is wet it will wick up water, which will cause the adhesive to fail. Where we live it is wet during spring. So we are going to wait until the concrete has been dry before we adhere the strip.
