Q: Does this kill gnats better tha citronella lpants

It doesn't kill anything, just makes them go away. Very eco, child and pet friendly. I will be buying more.

Q: Does this work well to kill yard gnats?

I don't believe it kills anything, but I'd does repel wood boring bees, wasps and hornets. Probably does the same for any insect that avoids mint.

Q: Besides spiders and ants, what other insects will it get rid of?

It appears to have ran off the lizards and wasp.

Q: Will this repel beavers from eating branches in my pine trees

It keeps insects away. Don't know about beavers.
