This is our third set of G9 bulbs for the dimmable pendant lights we installed over our dining table. The first two versions seemed great for a minute, but never really got the whole "dimmable" thing down properly, and I was actually starting to worry that I was going to have to re-replace our lights. Thank goodness, I decided to try one more time and the third time was the charm. I could immediately tell these were higher quality than our last two sets; they are sturdy and solid and also a little bigger even though they fit in to the same G9 base. They truly could not be easier to install as you literally just push them in to your lamp and you're done. In terms of functionality, they worked perfectly from the get go and have continued to function exactly as expected including a ton of dimming and brightening on a daily basis. I was worried they wouldn't be bright enough even on the highest setting as my wife like a seriously lit up table sometimes, but they pleasantly surprised me with their brightness level. (And they make my pendant lamps look amazing on a dimmer level in my opinion. I tried to include a couple of photos on different light levels but honestly they don't really do the real-life look of the lights justice). These are a great value compared to similar but less effective bulbs, especially for something that immediately made my life a little easier and better.

We have these for our vanity in the master bathroom. They are bright when needed, have good color rendering to make the light feel natural, dim smoothly, and can operate a a very low intensity when being blasted by light at midnight is not wanted. They are very energy efficient compared to the 50 watt lamps we had before. I liked them enough to buy a second set to fully replace the halogen lights we had. The only thing I am unsure of is how long they will last, whether the individual diodes will start failing over time, and what that looks like. The other thing I noticed is that they are longer/taller than the halogen lamps replaced, so they poke out the bottom of the shade; this could be a problem for some people.
