You know if I could sue the previous homeowners of our current home I would! But thank goodness for this concentrated vinegar! Our yard - all the way around- sides, front and back have sow thistles everywhere! They kept the yard mowed extremely short so we and others looking at the home couldn’t spot them and also because they had bushes and all types of trees and plants everywhere. As we began to clear every useless overgrown weeds and plants everywhere away this allowed all the sow thistles to take off and grow like crazy. I had been using gloves to pull them out by the roots. But to no avail, they continued to multiply. Poured just a bit of the concentrated vinegar on all of them. If it was a bigger sow thistle I poured a bit more. I used it straight, but you can dilute it. But I was on a mission- leave no snow thistle alive. Well they are still popping up everywhere, but that was to be expected. Great price. Super effective! Safer than all the chemical weed killers. Easy to pour straight from the jug or make diluted batches with water. If you dilute there will be less vinegar smell that does tend to linger. But I didn’t mind. I will continue to buy this until no sow thistles remain! Oh! And you will see results fast! About 16 hours later they were wilted, a day or two later they were turning brown, within several days they were completely dead. It will kill your grass or other plants around - wherever the vinegar goes. But I would rather replant some grass than have hundred of sow thistles growing everywhere.
