Counterfeit
Ive been wearing Havaianas for over a decade now, and these aren’t them.Came wrapped in its transit packaging with no tags. No holographic label anywhere, even the size isn’t authentic to the brand. Havaianas also wouldn’t sell damaged product (tread on left heel). No ‘made in brazil’ on the bottom of the straps. The most blatant indicator is the shine of the straps. Havaianas are known for their matte straps. Even their ‘metallic’ straps have a matte finish. These weren’t on sale. They aren’t special. I thought I’d save a few bucks on shipping with Prime. Lesson learned, only buying directly from Havaianas from now on.

Not as well made as they use to be.
I've been a flip flop individual all my life. 12 years ago, I discovered this brand. It was the best flip flop I've ever owned. They last about 2 years before the strap suddenly breaks. I like to emphasize "was". I recently bought these expecting the same feeling as I always do, except these are a lighter cheaper material. Each step isnt even the same. I'm not very scientific when it comes to material, but I believe the original ones were a natural rubber made from a common tree in Brazil. These that I recently bought are a synthetic rubber (polymer based foam). So, because of this I either got a pair of fake havaiana flip flops or theyve cheapen the material.

Knock Offs or the real thing?
Not comfortable at all. The piece between your big toe makes these super uncomfortable.I just went to a yoga/meditation retreat and ran into 20 pairs of these. Mine looked very differentand its making me question if these are really Havainas or if they are knock offs.I returned them and buy purchase another brand on amazon.

Havaianas Outlet?
As other reviewers noted, something is different about these havaianas. This is my 5th pair, first from amazon. The rubber straps are much stiffer with sharper edges, potential for blisters the first few wears. After 2 weeks of daily wear, the straps are still stuck in the shape they arrived. Color is slightly different as well. Look and foam bottom are about the same. Odd since they have all the stickers and branding but feels cheap like a pair from Walmart. Purchased via Amazon for the free shipping but I would not buy it again, they are the exact same price on the havaianas site. Could give them 3 stars as a basic pair of flip flops but only 1 star as Havaianas.

Product extremely uncomfortble
I wear a size 9 shoe and when I ordered this product, it noted 9-10 so I felt very comfortable with the size when I ordered it. It arrived within one day of ordering which was great but when I removed the product from the package, there was no information relative to the name of the product nor the size.I tried them on and could barely get my foot in the loops and the large toe and second toe of each foot were cramped in the loop attachment to the flipflop.I thought they just needed stretching so I wore them around the house for a while and the entire time I wore them, my feet were very uncomfortable to the point of hurting so much I had to remove them as they were hurting that bad.I will try them again to try and stretch them but I doubt they will stretch out anymore. I believe I just wasted my money on this product and will not recommend them. If for some reason they do stretch out, I will send another review on them with this information.I would try to return them but I doubt they will be accepted as I wore them and used them.

Extremely comfortable, good value
I bought these just over 2 years ago. They went through a lot of wear and I've never worn a more comfortable flip flop.I've taken them backcountry for weeks at a time to wear at camp and even wore them a couple miles on asphalt with a 30 pound back to preserve tread on my trail runners. These were were great for biking around downtown Phoenix on my cruiser, where it's flip flop weather 9 months out of the year. These are my longhaul road trip driving shoes (except for winter of course), and it's no problem driving stick shift. And they're great around the house. I've even done some moderate landscaping in them.As thin as they are, they have a bit of heft, and they compress nicely under the balls of the feet. After they broke in a bit, mine started to squeak, like a bicycle tire over tile kind of low squeak, but that never bothered me. The only negative experience I had before the left thing snapped today was wearing them in a stream back country and one thong slipped out from the sole due to the extra surface pressure from the water. Fortunately, I was able to pop it back in and get another nine months of use out of them. There was still plenty of sole left, and they might have lasted another summer if they hadn't gone through the extra stress in the stream. The flip flops I picked up at CVS after these snapped feel are complete junk, so I ordered another pair of these as soon as I got home. I also picked up a pair of Sanuks (I have a slip-on by them that's been incredible) at triple the cost for something a little more heavy duty.

NOT "Top" Havaianas!
I opted to pay a little more for these because the description indicated that they were the "Top" variety of Havaianas and the pictures reflected this as well. Unfortunately, what arrived did NOT have the "Top" logo on it, so I paid extra for a value that was not received. Yes, there is a difference in construction and I am disappointed.

I think they were just a faulty pair
I ordered a size 9-10, and they're a little longer than I'd like. I don't understand why my current Havaianas were available in size 9 some years ago, but the only ones I could find now are either 8 or 9-10. I really need a 9. But that wasn't really the problem. I can live with the 9-10 size, but the straps on these were enormous. I think this was just a faulty pair. It looked as if the straps were from something like a size 13, and they were put on my size 9-10. I ordered a blue pair and they were fine, but these were just not right. I'll just return these and try again.

A little roomy, bent straps
The straps are a little wide, but length of shoe is correctThe straps are rolled, looks like shoe was compressed for a long period of time which affected the plastic strap.Reciepient was not picky so we kept it, its budget price but question benefit or quality over a bargain basement discount pair as was purchased brand name.

Buyer beware! Don't bother.
If these Havaianas are "factory-seconds" they should be described as such. Didn't realize trying to get a matched pair of white thong sandals would be such a chore. Just returned second defective pair. First pair: the colour didn't even match; one pair was stark white, the other beige/off white, with one strap twisted so badly the edge of the strap pressed into the top of the foot. Straps are now a lot longer than they used to be (my old pair of same size have shorter straps). Returned. Almost a month later received second pair: the colour matched but the sole on one was between ⅛ and ¼" thinner than the other. Also had same twisted strap problem, so returned as well. I've bought Havaianas for years and they definitely do not have the same quality they used to have; they're now more like the knockoffs that have been around for years. Makes you wonder if they now make the left sandal in one factory and the right ones in another. LOL. Will buy locally and see what I'm getting before purchasing.

Caution - Sizing is not correct
I'm not sure if it was just a defect on this pair, however the size is smaller in both width and length than other Havaianas that I have.

slip-m-on
Made of good quality rubber (probably synthetic but feels soft and rubber). The cut is perfect and the finish is of high quality. In some synthetic flip flops the groove that separates the big toe and the second toe is not properly ground and the sharp edge cuts the toes. This slipper is not too thin nor too thick so it is comfortable to wear and one's foot does not feel the ground as may be the case with slippers that are too thin.
