Performance and Performance/Cost tradeoff.
This is the 2nd Beelink Mini of the same model I've ordered since May. In comparing it's performance tradeoffs to costs I believe it's the best of the line. I'm using it to do research and design activities without any hangups in performance or other limitations. It runs cool even when I ask it to run continuous calculations that requires it to run a full capacity for 5 minutes or more. In one word I'd say the unit is "IMPRESSIVE".

**Beelink SER8 Mini PC – A Game-Changer in Mini Computing**
I recently upgraded from an older Dell laptop to the Beelink SER8 Mini PC, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. As someone who has worked in IT for decades, I’ve bought and used countless PCs, but this one truly impressed me with how far mini PCs have come.Setting it up was seamless—I simply connected it to my existing docking station via the USB-C port, and everything worked perfectly without any hiccups. Out of the box, it came preloaded with Windows 11 Pro and 32GB of DDR5 RAM, making multitasking effortless. Whether I’m running multiple programs, browsing with tons of tabs open in Chrome, or attending a Teams meeting, this machine handles it all with zero lag.One of the standout features is its **AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS processor** and **AMD Radeon 780M Graphics Card**, which together deliver powerful performance and stunning visuals. The triple-display support (HDMI2.1, DP1.4, USB4) makes it a fantastic option for productivity, especially in a multi-monitor setup.Beyond performance, the value for money is undeniable. A similarly specced laptop would have cost me **twice** as much, but this compact powerhouse delivers all the functionality I need at a fraction of the price. The **1TB PCIe4.0 SSD** provides ample storage and ultra-fast read/write speeds, and I love the fact that it’s **expandable up to 8TB**.Additionally, the newly upgraded **metal case and vapor chamber cooling system** keep the unit running efficiently without overheating. Despite its small size (just **5.3 x 5.3 x 1.76 inches**), it’s packed with high-end hardware that truly redefines mini computing. In short, if you’re looking for a **high-performance, affordable, and ultra-compact PC**, the Beelink SER8 Mini PC is an excellent choice. Whether for work, gaming, or general multitasking, it delivers far beyond expectations.**Highly recommended!** 👍

The Mini Computer
I needed to replace my aging system as it was getting very slow and after a couple of hours of use it would just shut down. The restart would take about 15 to 20 minutes. So, I was in the market for a new computer and monitor.I had been researching various systems. The Bee Link VER 5 was recommended by my brother. He works for Microsoft and uses one in his home office. I did my research, compared it to the standard tower CPU and an all-in-one system. I kept coming back to the mini Bee Link. One of the best features of this system is the price. I finally pulled the trigger and purchased the Bee Link Ser5 with the ADM Risen 7 chip. I purchased the computer, 34-inch monitor, and back lit keyboard for a little more than $700. It took about a week for the computer to arrive. When I initially took it out of the box, it was much smaller than I thought that it would be. Hooking it up was simple. I couldn't believe that this little thing would perform as well as a standard tower computer. How did they squeeze all of that computing power into this little box?Well, it sits seamlessly on my desk, behind the monitor. I have been very impressed with the speed at which this thing processes. There are plenty of connection points for printers, monitors, mouse etc. I even have some data ports remaining when I finished hooking up my peripherals.I am not a big gamer, so I don't know how it would handle some of the more complex games that are out there. Nevertheless, I work with Databases and write some of my own code and this thing handles all of that as well as my other office projects very well.I am pleased. I use the space, where the tower was located, to store book, notes, and additional office supplies.

I am so happy with this computer, I use it for Ableton Live with heavy CPU intensive VST Plugins with no problem. I am super happy with this purchase!

Great little PC, needed to reset CMOS for USB-C monitor
I bought this to replace an aging laptop for my home office. I mostly use Microsoft 365 in the cloud, but wanted to be able to run programs for design and 3D printing (multiple slicers, Fusion 360, Blender, Inkscape, etc.). I'm running everything on wifi right now, and it's going well. So far this runs everything fast enough for me, which means it is at least as fast my 2015 MacBook Pro. Navigating Windows 11 was a bit of a change, but I logged into my old Microsoft account to please my new masters.I used HDMI to connect to a cheap monitor. I bought a portable monitor for a second screen and plugged it into the USB-C port. It worked fine for one day, then nothing. After much troubleshooting, I found that I needed to reset the CMOS (using a paperclip in the hole on the front of the PC). Now it works fine. I can also run a monitor (but not the portable one) through the DP and ran 3 monitors while I was troubleshooting. (Not enough room on my desk to keep that going, but it is nice.)I use the portable monitor, headphones, or a bluetooth speaker for sound and bought a camera for video calls. I did add a usb hub with SD card support. Everything has been plug-and-play so far. Our house is a mix of new and old tech, but I have been able to access everything I want so far. It will even print to my printer that my old MacBook refused to find starting last year, although I had to trick Windows to install the drivers. I would recommend this as a decent household or work PC.

Fast, quiet, and small
Was very easy to get going as Windows 11 is preinstalled. System was fast and quiet. Size, and packaging it came in, is stunningly small.

Great home PC
This mini pc has been great.Nice and fast, even runs SolidWorks (3d modeling program) well. The fan is noisy but I can deal with that. I'll probably get another soon for my wife's office.
