what are the measurements to fit in the wall/ceiling?

A 100mm Diameter CIrcle is required to fit the fan to the wall/ceiling. The actual dimensions of the fan are 147mm x 147mm x 131mm. They are also available in 120mm and 150mm diameter circle mount.

does this have Installed duct, so no condensation build up ruins the fan. Since I want to put into bathroom/toilet ceiling that goes up to loft

The Quietair fans do not come with any ducting within the box, however the fans must be installed with ducting. The ducting will run between the fan to suitable external grill or roof terminal.A condensation trap should be fitted above the fan, this is to stop any condensate formed within the ducting from running back into the fan and potentially causing damage. Our qt100ht has only had just 2yrs use and stopped working. airflow what are our options?

They do stop working like most fans after a few year but the life can be extended if you Keep the fan clean by removing dust. Leaving dust on reduces efficiency and upsets balance. May even work again after this. Don't leave light on for days as the fan keeps working and the bearings get hot

What is the sound level in dB at the highest speed?

From the manufacturer’s website ‘ Sound pressure 25/30 dB(A) @ 3m’. I assume the 2 figures refer to the 75/90m3/hr modes. I have a number of these units fitted in my house ...the lower noise/volume/speed is indeed quiet but the higher noise/volume/speed mode is of course noisier and I would hazard annoying at night if you install in an en-suite. I have a unit in my en-suite which is set to trigger at low noise/volume/speed on humidity and higher when linked to turning on via ceiling lights. As I have low-level led lights turning on via a motion sensor at night, I can ensure that I don’t trigger the high-speed fan mode and disturb my light-sleeping wife.
