I am of course familiar with the brand "Revolution" but this is my first time with this particular 'Revolution Pout Lip Gloss' product of theirs and the variant I have been fortunate enough to be sent to test & review is the 'Creme Brulee Mauve' variety.As the name suggests it is a lipstick/gloss hybrid. It has a thick and creamy texture to it that goes on easily and in my experience so far at least - doesn't dry the lips out. It is not overly sticky and has a nice level of shine to it in my opinion.The colour is darker than the packaging. It is a nice pinkish-brown colour (or brownish-pink if you prefer!) that I find to be classy, neutral and pretty versatile in terms of the looks and outfits it can go with. Similarly I can see this being suitable for all occasions professional or social. I'm happy. My only slight word of warning or criticism would be that it is darker than the outer packaging may seem to suggest - but is that enough to remove a whole star from the review? If I could give 4.5 stars I might, but seeing as I can't I'm going to round up to five because of my experience overall being positive.

This is a lovely, highly pigmented lip gloss; it’s like a lipstick, but with a rich, glossy finish. It’s easy to apply, leaves my lips feeling really soft, and isn't overly sticky like some glosses are.For £6.99 (at the time of writing my review), I think it’s reasonably priced and offers good value for money.Thank you for taking the time to read my review. Very nice

This is a lovely lip gloss from Revolution in a mauve colour.I have used it on its own for a slight tint or over my lipstick and it is moisturising without being too greasy.It's cruelty free which is a must and I had no issues with my sensitive skin.I would recommend.

I got it in creme brulee colour and its lovely mauve. It does make your lips look plump. Lips are glossy and not dried out at all. It blends into the lips perfectly. It does feel a bit sticky but not like some other lipgloss products i used before. It glides on easily and leaves lips feeling hydrated! Very satisfied!

Lovely colour lipstick/gloss in one simple to apply stick form. It’s quite a natural palette colour so doesn’t look over the top or tacky.The texture is smooth and makes the application quite pleasant.Ideal for events, it offers quite the luxurious shiny gloss you get from premium gloss.

I love Revolution makeup, and I was keen to try this Lip Gloss stick lipstick in the shade Creme Brulee Mauve. On paper, it sounded like the perfect hybrid between a gloss and lipstick. Love the casing, it looks more expensive than it actually is.The formula itself is lovely. It glides on with a luxurious, cushiony texture that truly does feel hydrating and comfortable. There’s no sticky residue. The infusion of hyaluronic acid does seem to make a difference in keeping my lips feeling moisturised. It feels more like a balm than a gloss, but it still gives that juicy, high-shine finish. My lips stay soft for hours, and there’s none of that horrible drying effect some glosses leave behind. The colour is very versatile and it will suit most people.All in all, a lovely lip product at a very reasonable price point. If you’re after hydration, shine, and a flattering colour without the faff, this one’s definitely worth a go.
