Why didn't I buy this sooner?!! This is a game changer. Our 5 month old McNab/Border Collie is quite skittish so pulls VERY hard normally when walking. With arthritis in my hands, it is very difficult for me to walk her, plus the leash I was using would give me "leash burns" on my hands from her bolting and pulling. This leash is very easy to put on her, feels nice to hold and has a bungy-like effect, so if she does try to bolt, it doesn't feel like my arm will be dislocated. However, she doesn't pull AT ALL with this leash. As long as I keep the neck loop cinched high behind her ears, she is extremely responsive and stays right next to me. She has tried to pull a couple times, but quickly realizes how this tightens around her nose and behind ears and immediately stops. I have already recommended this leash to a co-worker who has a dog who also pulls. My dog also normally bites at the leash so I would have to put a muzzle on her most times when walking, but with this leash, she doesn't try any of that behavior. I also like the fact that since it doesn't have a specific nose loop (like a head halter), I have the option to simply use it as a slip leash around her neck for a quick outing to go potty, or from the house to the car, etc.

We have a 5 month old Dalmatian and she was dragging my 8 year old around the neighborhood. I used other gentle leaders in the past when I walked my other dogs but the same methods were hard for my daughter to keep it on our puppy as the puppy kept slipping it off. This has solved the pulling completely and it doesn't fall off - so simple and yet really works - it's pretty amazing and I have always been an advocate for the other big name brand. My puppy does not love it however as she rubs her head constantly against the grass - I might try to add a softer fabric around it at some point for the muzzle but she didn't like other similar sets ups either so softer fabric might not help... but despite that, it really works and has allowed my daughter to continue walking the dog (thankfully!!!) because of this leash. Within the first walk, it stopped her from pulling. It has been worth every cent.

My fur baby is a Belgian malinois who has to be walked each day. She’s got really bad pulling issues and chiclets and harnesses do nothing for her, this product has made our walks easier and made our walking experience more pleasant for my dog. It’s just a long enough length that she has plenty of room to walk and run while also keeping her from consistently pulling. Would recommend if all else fails

Thanks to this leash I finally feel like I am in control of our exercise time. It is soft and she did not paw at it. She walked with minimal pulling and was corrected by a very, very, very, gentle upward tug of the leash. I am amazed at how easy our walk was. I’m no longer afraid of her pulling me and causing me to slip on ice. I truly am in control.

This figure 8 leash stops my 80 pound lab from pulling forward, but she quickly figured out how she can pull backwards, and it slips off over her head.

I have lab that tends to pull on walks. This is replacing a metal neck / nose collar. I think this nylon collar is more humane for my dog.

I use these leashes to train rescues from the humane society. This is THE WORST LEASH. Because it is so bungee it is not firm enough to have a good amount of slack for the gentle leader. And it doesn’t stop choking them when the stop pulling. It just stays tight. I don’t think I explained that well, but it was frustrating and a waste of money. The same dog I used it on has used an easy leader very successfully in the past and did really well when I switched it halfway through our training. Don’t buy it.

Excellent quality dog leads. I've used these for several years now. I have large bracco dogs who are very keen on pulling. These give me the option of putting the figure of eight to use to stop pulling, or not, making it a very versatile lead. Only one flaw is the fact that whilst new, if you get caught in the rain, the colour can bleed onto your dogs face. I simply put the lead into a bowl of water, let any colour bleed come out, hang them to dry and after that no more problem. At 45kg my male dog is a big strong chap but these leads adequately do the job. They don't mark their fur, and last for years. My old ones have simply become a little shabby after 4 years of use hence a renewal

I got this less than a week ago because my dog likes to pull in every direction and needing a good handle on him, how ever, I ended up buying another one from a local warehouse for much cheaper than this price and for the same thing, so price wise it is very expensive, when I realised I went to cancel this one, only to find that it was already shipped, I won't be sending it back and will be keeping it as a back up incase my other breaks, but having the same mechanics, it works amazing! He stops pulling when on short lead, and he's learning on a longer lead. Also recommend a product like this, but perhaps a cheaper one though.
