already using minoxidil, will this help, too?

It sure did for me! I started using the Minoxidil for women after having surgery. Anesthetic always causes my hair to thin drastically. I used it religiously. The Rogaine worked. Its OK but you must use it continuously and I didn't like how it wet my hair down morning and night. I tried the liquid stuff and the foam, but both really messy. But, then I was diagnosed with Leukemia. I thought, Oh, Oh...I knew I was going to lose all my hair.... Luckily, I only had some thinning. I was told by my Oncology nurses to use the Hair Volume instead of going back to the Rogaine. Its very convenient as it is only one tablet a day in the morning. My hair is back just as thick as it ever was. I'm 76 and in Remission. I buy this product in the 90 day box and signed up to have it delivered to me automatically, which I really like. Its one LESS thing to worry about refilling. OH... be patient. This doesn't work overnight! It was right at about 6 weeks before I noticed the new 'baby hair' coming in on my scalp. PATIENCE is key.

Can new nordic hair volume tablets be crushed?

I am pretty certain you can crush the tablet. However, you would need a good pill crusher because it is a little on the thick side.

Do I have to take it regularly forever?

No, you can stop once you are satisfied by the results, I stopped after 90 days. If you take it while dieting then you want to stop once you make sure that your food contains good sources of biotin, vitamin B5, silica, zinc and proteins. This supplement is to rescue people's hair and skin whose diets are not inclusive or are deficient due to treatment or life style. I would not recommend taking horsetail or high doses of biotin long term. High Biotin can interfere with B5 absorption long term.
