The components are very well made and don't look cheap. The desk has tons of drawer space and the desktop easily holds two 24" monitors. Overall, it was very easy to build--just be sure to fully review the pictorial instructions before you begin. The instructions say you need a helper, but this is not necessarily true--I built the desk by myself with no difficulty. AND, if you don't have tools of your own yet, 2 hex-keys (Allen wrenches) and 1 full-size, reversible screwdriver are included, along with extras of most all the hardware. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Will be moving into a smaller space but still need my work at home space. This is light weight, drawers are mainly fabric with stabilizing bottom inserts, very easy to put together and looks pretty good! Instructions give two ways of assembling: drawers/shelves on opposite sides. bear in mind the diagrams are shown as if you are looking at the desk from behind and they are correct in correlation to which set up you choose. Also, hardware and tools included absolutely get the job done, no problem.

The Hugger desk is described as a computer desk but also compatible as a writing desk. It has a shelf for a tower PC which saves floor space and raises the PC off the floor away from your feet. It has a full width of a medium-size desk at 47" and a modest depth of 18" which saves room space. The top appears as described which is supposedly scratch resistant and durable (time will tell). It has six drawers - which offers storage and makes this desk practical - which are partly made of fabric (the front passes as wood) and not really considered a drawback since they are designed to be functional - and the big plus: It is not heavy. The 38 lb box to my door step was easy to handle, and the assembled desk easy to pick up and move to its destination in the room.

Purchased as a vanity. Sturdy, not too big and color is beautiful. Drawers and not wood but hold a lot of items. Great value for the cost.

I loved this desk and the only reason I returned it is because I wanted a different color. As far as size, functionality and ease to put together, this desk is perfect! The PC fits in the shelf area easily and my tower is a bit oversized, the drawer space is just fantastic! Completely enough room to put all your desk goodies and then some. It's a really nice looking desk also. - not too heavy for it's space, ya know? If they had only had the color that I wanted, I would have kept it and been happy happy.

The reversible design and shelving are useful features, and I appreciate the ample storage space.However, the biggest letdown is the quality of the drawers. For a desk at this price point, I was expecting better materials, especially in a feature as important as the drawers.If you're buying this desk mainly for the look and basic functionality, it may still be worth considering. But if you're expecting high-quality wooden construction—especially in the storage components—you might want to explore other options.
