Thousand percent upgrade from the last
Comfort 5/5Noise cancellation 5/5Sound quality 5/5Appearance 5/5Packaging 5/5Mic 4/5Extremely comfortable like the most comfortable headphones I’ve ever owned gaming or not. Doesn’t matter how I sit they conform great and don’t leave position. Noise cancellation is top tier I can’t hear anything when I have them on, lol. Sound quality has greatly improved my sense of direction and just general awareness while playing and has also picked up some things in-game my other headphones didn’t. Has these things on the sides I guess for protection that connect by magnets and add to the design. Box comes with extra accessories and is nicely put together, you can easily use it for safe storage for after un boxing. Confused about the detachable mic, I can’t seem to figure out how to get it working but it comes with another chord that has a mic built into it that works great. 100% satisfied and recommend. Price is alittle stiff but in this day and age you usually get what you pay for so I don’t regret spending the extra to know I’m getting great performance I’d definitely buy again if I had to.Edit: Got the mic working just took a little figuring out. After purchase you’ll find that there will be some configuring to be done about possible echoes/background noise and what not just play with your settings on your console/device with someone in a party with you until you get it right. There’s a ton of negative reviews and feedback on google about people sending them back or being unhappy because of it and a lot of claims that there was no solution but I’m able to play with full volume without my team mates hearing my gameplay or having vocal echoes it just takes a bit of configuration.

Little things that are often overlooked
Pros:As an avid gamer I’d have to say that this headset and amp are a must have. For the price, it’s very hard to beat the combo. The headset is very comfy and can be worn for 10+ hours without any pain or discomfort. The speakers are top noch in terms of quality and noise canceling ability. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to step up their game and invest in a good product.Cons: on PS4, it doesn’t get very loud. Because there’s no way to adjust party chat volume or individual player volumes (like you can in discord) it makes it very difficult to fine tune the sound. The amp and app make it a bit easier but not as easy as I’d like. Also the mute/unmute switch broke on mine within 3 months to where I was always muted unless I pushed really hard on the slider in the unmute direction (contacted turtle beach and they sent me a new one for free) so not a huge deal, more of an inconvenience.Best of all:Because you use Bluetooth and an app to control the amp, it means you can listen to things on your phone and it comes through your headset (twitch streams, or YT videos) and it can use the mic in the headset for phone calls etc. You can even join a discord call on your phone, and still hear everything on your PS4 at the same time and the discord comes through your headset and uses your mic. It’s actually incredible.Final thoughts: 10/10 should buy. I think a good headset is 1 of the 3 things you need to have to remove the ceiling of potential to become a great gamer (good monitor and good internet are 2 and 3) but definitely should buy

More like Elite Atlas Pro 2.
While these are 4 star headphones the fact that Turtle Beach Sales support lied to me is why I'm hitting it with a 1 star rating. They told me that these were the same headphones as the Pro1's just with an upgraded headband. I've owned 3 pairs of the Elite 1's and they are NOT the same. They are inferior in most ways. I've used both Pro 1's and 2's with the original T.A.C. amp and 3.5mm on the Xbox Series X, One X and Alienware PC.I'll compare these against the superior Pro 1's through the review. The sound profile on these are more bass heavy and muddled like the Elite Atlas Pro (may as well be the same headset with how little they differ) and the directional audio queues seem less accurate. This was tested with Window Sonic, Dolby Access and DTS X (My preferred) apps as well as Stereo to be decoded by the amp. As a matter of fact the only way I enjoy these at all is with Dolby Access so I can adjust the EQ with the app and drop the low ends 4-6db and raise the mids 2-4db. This also costs directional audio quality from turning off game mode to use custom EQ. It's not terrible but the transition of audio direction is not as smooth or accurate. The fixed mic is just OK and can be sensitive and punchy though it is removable. The Pro 1's were far superior in function and form with the vertical swivel and very flexible boom possessing high quality mic audio with great background noise elimination. Now to where the Pro 2's even out (Kinda not really). While the ear pads feel stiffer and cheaper out of the box the magnetic snap is preferred to the twist lock on the Pro 1's. I preferred the old breakaway cables connection at the headset's end but the longer braided cable is nice with better in-line controls, though I'm certain the 3.5mm connector is coated in a lesser metal. The PC cable is a nice long braided cord but the Pro 1's came with a USB amp for 7.1 out of the gate. The only way the Pro 2's may excel is by addressing the design flaw of the Pro 1's fragile head band. Time will tell. Out of 3 sets of Pro 1's, one broke putting them on another pulling them off and one just sitting on my head with the tension set to the lowest but all in all I'd rather use my duct taped Pro 1's.I'm not sure if the Pro 2's amp makes a difference but with what I was told it shouldn't have. DO NOT buy these with out an amp or software that allows you to adjust the EQ. I'd recommend skipping these all together due to mediocre performance and being inferior to the Pro 1's for only a slightly smaller price tag. This is coming from a hardcore TB fan who's been using the brand since 2007. I've owned models x3, x31(x2), x4, x41(x2 with one pair still running strong in 2021), Stealth 600 (Meh), Elite Pro 1 with T.A.C amp (x3)(R.I.P.), Elite Atlas Pro (Meh) and now these Pro 2's(Sigh) and I think it's time to move on. I think I'll try Astro or Steel Series next time.
