子育てのヒントを具体的な方法で教えてくれます。親になったからといって、また愛があるからといって自動的に子育てできるわけではないので、こういう本はありがたいです。うまくいかないととか、納得できない方法が人によってあるかもしれませんが、いろんな方法が提示されているので、色々試せます。年齢によっても機能するときしない時あると思います。長く手元に置いてちょこちょこ覗いています。

子育ての参考のために購入しましたが、読んでみてすべての人間関係に当てはまるのではないかと思いました。豊富な例文はもちろん子供との会話ですが、テクニックの基本的な部分は「自尊心を尊重する」、「相手の感情を認める」など、大人同士の関係にも通じるものがあります。「女の子にもてるには」や「会社の人間関係に困っている」など現代のコミュニケーション本などもこの考え方を参考にしているのではないかと思います。つまり子供を上手に育てるだけでなく、自分自身がコミュニケーターとして成長するための本ともいえます。やはり子供と適切にコミュニケーションするということは、単に正しいことをどう教えるかというようなことではなく、一人の人間、一人格として接することが大切なのかなと感じました。読んでよかったと思います。
