Very Bold Line
This product works very well but it does let a lot of chalk come out when you are stretching out the line and it's pretty bulky to have in a framing bag.

the string is strong as all get out but a little too wide.
it says in the description that it doesn’t come with chalk so I also ordered some nice red chalk. i overfilled it but the string didn’t jam up when I reeled it in. the 100ft string is woven tightly like a rope and is a little thicker than ideal. i had a cheaply made one that I got a lot of use out of it but i couldn’t pull it very tight without it breaking. but this one feels much tougher.

There's no chalk in this
I bought this to make chalk lines but there was no chalk in this. Lucklily I had some chalk to color the string to make the chalk lines. The reel and string was sturdy so I was able to make some straight lines & was happy the way it came out.
