Newnik Professional Series Finger Tip Pulse Oximeter With Audio Visual Alarm and Perfusion Rate (Dark Blue)

I had to quickly purchase a pulse oximeter and started looking for some. I found this one was very highly rated in Amazon and price was affordable. Considering this and urgency, I opted for this product. I opted for a paid delivery from Amazon and surprised to see it was delivered very next day (within 24hrs).Coming to the product itself, it is a simple clip design and comes with the battery needed to be used. There are no big settings to be done or buttons to be pressed. The meter starts automatically when it it put on finger. I calibrated this with the one used in hospital and variation was about 1% from the one is hospital, so this is very accurate. We have been using this for last 1.5month and did not see any issues. I have registered for the warranty online in the site and it was promptly acknowledged. I believe it is a great and affordable product and need to be in home of people who have breathing issues, asthma, lung infections etc, for now I rate it 5-star on following count*Simple design*Ease of use (can be used even by a Kid)*Durable*Accurate in measurement*Auto on/off with insertion of finger

The media could not be loaded. Initially, I considered 4 Brands : Dr Trust, Dr Morepen, Newnik and Accusure. Basing on all reviews from all websites, and considering different factors, Finally there is a tough competition between Dr Trust and Newnik.Actually, I doubted this product and thought of going with Dr.Trust, But few models of Dr Trust doesn't even have that 6 months warranty. Only few models of Dr Trust have warranty. On the Other hand, This newnik Px701 model has 1 year warranty and It had so many good reviews in different websites even before COVID started. So Went with this model. Using it for the last 5 days now.Checking SPO2 & BPM readings of all my family members ('T'/'H'/'S') for the last 5 days (5 readings on day 1 with 2 hours gap, One reading each on day 2, day 3, day 4 and day 5). SPO2 is good for all 3 members (97 to 99) through out all 9 readings. From the attached sheet, BPM of 'T' & 'H' are consistent between 68 to 85 & 101 to 109 respectively in their 9 readings. BPM of 'S' is however a bit fluctuating in his 9 readings.Plethysmograph is also good as per Test 3 (See Below).As I don't have any standard device of this type, I cannot say anything about it's ACCURACY, But this iscertainly RELIABLE, As I did 3 tests (As per Youtube) on this device and all outcomes are fine.TEST 1 : When tied an rubberband to index finger very tightly, It must not show any values for SPO2 & BPM - Yes, It succeeded in this test.TEST 2 : Hold your breath as long as you can and just 5 to 6 seconds before you are about to exhale, Place the oximeter to your index finger. Once you exhale, You feel a bit suffocated. During this time, SPO2 levels must keep dropping with time - Yes it succeeded in this test as well. I tried this test 3 times, Because this is what most important during COVID time. Few reviewers are pasting an photo which is showing their SPO2 reading between 95 and 100 and saying that device is accurate. But most important thing is, your device should be able to show correct oxygen readings if they are really decreasing at any point of time in future. I suggest everyone to do this test on their device, Because some cheap oximeters have a standard sensor, Which show some random SPO2 reading between 95 to 100 and some random BPM reading between 60 to 100. These oximeters are absolutely useless. When I performed this test on this device, First time my SPO2 reading dropped to 96, Second time it dropped to 93 and third time when I tried very hard, It even dropped to 89, Where I felt very uncomfortable for nearly 20 min thereafter.TEST 3 : Hold tightly your waist and plethysmograph on this device should go almost flat - Yes it succeeded.I took videos of all above 3 tests, But I uploaded only "TEST 2" video (SPO2 Dropped to 93 upon holding breath), Due to Amazon's restriction of only one video per review.Verdict : All famous brands have increased the price of these oximeters by nearly 3 times, But this is must at this point of time. Particularly this is very important to ASYMPTOMATIC PATIENTS (If it starts impacting lungs), As no symptoms will be shown during initial 4 to 5 days, After COVID entered into their bodies until mild suffocation starts 5 to 6 days later. This mild suffocation (SPO2 : 90 to 93) will turn into serious suffocation (SPO2 : 70 to 75) in just 2 days time if not treated. Chances of surviving will decrease, If SPO2 reading keeps dropping. So, Monitor your readings daily without fail.

I needed to buy one. After reading lot of reviews for similar products finalized Newnik oximeter. Device is very compact. Need to trust the readings. Consistently getting different results for each family member.Also did the few tests recommended in YouTube to find if oximeter wad fake. It passes all those checks.It has auto on and off feature. Boots up as soon as you place the finger.It is FDA approved so can be trusted. Also manufacturing address on the pack is of Bangalore. So happy that it is not a cheap Chinese box.

Good. Am reviewing in 2024 January 😀. (I bought in 2017). Occasionally getting off but when cells were rotated again it working. I am using very less only of course mostly lies as a show piece which I have to agree of course

It one of the best product, as automatic and for accuracy & fast response.

Got old manufactured pulse oximeter. Battery paint coming off and battery not working.
