Great build quality, almost 4 years and still going strong.
I used it as the first step of traditional single blade wetshaving. Got a bunch of cuts over the first few weeks. Don't worry if you do, keep at it, eventually you will get the skill to shave on wet skin without soap/lather too.Coming to the shavette, it is truly Stainless steel, though I think it is SS303 or SS304 rather than SS316. There are only two copper alloy pegs on which the blade gets aligned so that it does not move when pushed back by the body surface or hair (when it is being cut). And a plastic bush between the SS scales of the razor. Grip is fantastic and has a reassuring heft to it. ITs a very capable razor, which can elevate your shaving experience when used with the correct blade as per sharpness+smoothness. The blades are not recommended, as everyone's skin is different, I would rather recommend a blade sampler pack. I am happy with Gillette Super Thins, Gillette 7-o-clock SP (black), VI-John Chrome. This thing has only discoloured/dulled slightly as compared to July 2021 when I got it. I don't use it as frequently now as I prefer DE razors, but once in a while I use it to shave other body hair and sometimes on the wet face when I am too busy to enjoy the full shaving experience.Fantastic product, will recommend Parker razors. There is a group on reddit called Wetshavers_India. It's a fantastic resource for all things Shaving in India. My only advice is that you should be very careful when handling this (or ANY SHAVETTE). In the first few weeks, 3 cuts to my hands (both hands) simply because I wasn't careful enough. That's the best part. You LEARN to concentrate on your shaving technique when using a shavette. Else it is a very unforgiving mistress. The discipline helps you when you start using DE razors.

Satisfactory Packaging, Excellent Feel and Quality, Feels Solid, Beautiful Shave
Honestly, I was skeptical about another product SR1 after reading negative reviews. I was mainly worried about damaged, opened, repackaged goods. I even cancelled that order. I even communicated with the parent company and they assured me that the seller is their trusted partner. So this time I ordered the SRX after receiving the prompt refund on the SR1. I watched a few Youtube Videos beforehand. Watch Geo Fatboy. Excellent review about the razor and the blades. The main points to consider were the cardboard packaging. I think the quality of the outer packaging should be improved because it is considered a premium product internationally. I did not have to tear it like in one of the videos. The blades are in original packaging, properly wrapped in plastic. I have no other criteria for evaluation. The blades are rated pretty highly on Youtube videos. I ordered them separately and that will be a separate review. I have Wahl razor with the sliding assembly which is quite nice. But this mechanism is something I will get used to. It is pretty smooth to open. I have not used it. But I have used a barber razor. I know what to expect. It feels solid, it feels metallic. And of course, I have fingerprints on a shiny razor. But it is a shiny razor for sure. It makes me a proud Indian. I don't know of any other international premium brand that's made in India. This is an addendum after actually using the product. The quality of blades is excellent for my liking. Unlike the other cheap option by the biggest international brand, locally made in India, the blades are smooth and sharp. But I will write a review about that in the Parker Blade review since I bought the 100 pack separately. But the razor itself is angled perfectly. For those who have still not got used to this type of razor, you need to use quality shaving cream and make nice creamy lather. You cannot be stingy in the shaving cream. The first shave with the original blades was smooth, clean, and nick-free. Zero nicks.

Finishing quality not proper. Prone to rust.
I was told Parker quality is hit or miss. And the piece I recieved is proof of that. Easy to use, but the finishing is not proper. The stainless steel is not properly coated and you can see the black spot on the "tang"(curved handle) in the picture. That is the exposed metal and will quickly rust if stored in wet conditions. So if you buy this, then add a drop of coconut or hair oil in it to prevent rusting.Edit: the supplied blades are okay okay, but not as sharp as the feather blades that I typically use. The weight is good and helps a lot to get a smooth shave. When used with sharp blades and lots of patience with good mirror and lighting, the product is very good.

Good sturdy razor, inferior blades
Not worth the price. Blades are blunt. Didn't even last two usage, that too for mere shaping. Razor feels good and sturdy though.

Good Product
Hi. I have not yet started using the product. I have used the popular Gillette men's razors before. If I can get some instructions on using it, I will start immediately. Otherwise, I will do so in some time to avoid embarrassment.

Expensive but worth it
Although expensive, but worth every penny, no other razon under Rs1000 that I've used has been so sharp and smooth
