Medline Woven Gauze Sponges, Sterile, 12-Ply, 4 x 4 Inches, Box of 50

I bought these to help with 3x per week bandage changes on a leg wound. They are strong but soft and have helped with cleanup and even sat on the wound itself with some silverdene on it. We used a saline spray to wet them and have been happy with their quality. My only complaint has been that they come in an open box but the packaging isn’t an issue once you open the box they come in so I didn’t even take off a star.

This is a fantastic amount of gauze for the price that you're getting. Package comes with a lot of individually wrapped gauze pads themselves, each around 4x4". So there's plenty of pad for whatever you need to use them for, you can even split them if needed it to smaller amounts. They get the job done just as well as anything we have been using in the past, and again, the fact that they're all individually wrapped is fantastic. Very absorbent and easy to use, and you get a lot for the price. High quality, highly recommended!

I have purchased several variations of 4 x 4 woven gauze recently and this is the best deal I have found. I have purchased a much more expensive brand that was marked as 12 -ply and was only 8 - ply, this is actually 12 - ply. It is also well made in very smooth squares that are not fraying or coming apart so you don't end up with strings sticking to your wound. The price was far better than all of the others I tried, so much so that I was skeptical that the description was correct. It is correct, I recommend it.
