It’s 100% what you are looking for if you need a Javelina call, very impressed!
It works better than I expected and is much louder than expected after reading previous reviews. You need to read the instructions if you don’t know how to properly place your hands on the device to make the correct noises as your hand movements dictate the various sounds it makes. Very happy with this purchase and using on my next Javelina hunt coming up in February.

It sounds like an owl, but you will need to practice...
I recently got into calling crows, and wanted to interact with the local owl populations, so I bought this call. That was my frame of reference, extreme success at interacting with curious crows, and wanting some of the same fun with the owls. The thing is, owl calls are more detailed and complex and the call does not go as far as a crow call to making you sound like the bird itself. Additionally, there are such a wide variety of owlsongs compared to crows. I had to do a lot more compared to a crow call to get this to work right.I have spent a lot of time listening to local owls and owls on youtube and learning to copy their calls. I'm still not good at the trills and warbles at the end of a longer owlsong. I don't know if that will eventually come from hand motions or something I will learn to do with my mouth. Time and more practice will tell. However, sometimes I can go out at night and start calling into a quiet evening and get an owl to respond, which is very cool.

My Primos Crow Call
I'm not a hunter, I believe in live and let live, but I do talk to crows. They REALLY are intelligent creatures and a few times I think we actually understand each other. Crazy??? I don't think so. Thanks again Amazon.

Mediocre
I originally believed I had received a defective call. Turns out I was using it backwards. There are no real instructions on this and it is opposite from most conventional calls. On most calls you blow into a small end that looks like a mouthpiece and sound comes out the “trumpet” end. Reverse that thinking here. Anyway, with that figured out it does make sound now.As for the actual sound. With the right air pressure and volume it does make something resembling an owl. It’s not terrible, but it’s not great. It’s difficult to achieve any reliable results. I think that this will work fine for inviting a few shock gobbles, but a smart bird might be questioning that owl a bit.

Come here duckie duckie
I have never heard an owl hoot like this. With that being said, this call has the quacking sound of a duck. It didn't make a difference at all changing the way I applied air pressure to the reed. What you get is a duck pitch.

Excellent Nailed It 1st Try!
I ordered Primos Power Hawk #352. I was worried about how difficult it would be to mimic a hawk cry but nailed it right out of the box.We had very nice weather here today and I was able to scout out an area with some hawks today. Providing there is good weather tomorrow I will come back and update once I test in the field. So far so good, this simple whistle unlocks ours of learning and fun to explore.
