I haven't found anything else that can do what these do. I wear eyeglasses for distance, but most of the time I'm doing stuff close up. These keep my glasses handy at all times, so they and the Croakies are around my neck constantly. I use wire temples on my glasses to maximize peripheral view, so anything too bulky looks dumb. These don't, and it also helps that they just hang smoothly off the ear hook without any clips, pivots or angles. I wear them when working outside, so they'll get pretty sweaty, but all I have to do is squeeze some soap through them and rinse, they dry quickly and look like new. They're durable too - one set lasts for years!

I have a pair of Maui Jin Lighthouse sunglasses. I ordered two other products that would not hold the thin temples on these glasses without constantly falling off. The Croakies Micro Suiters are the only ones I’ve found that work with wire thin temples. And they look great. Hope this saves someone else from multiple Amazon returns!

This eyewear retainer is lightweight, comfortable, and stays in place perfectly. It’s great for outdoor activities or just keeping your glasses secure. I bought these for my 11 year old daughter and she wears them daily. Easy to remove, and/or adjust.

I ordered this Croakie and a Chums Slip Fit (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003CJWI9C/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i01) spectacles retainer. I had no experience with either brand and did not want to purchase an off-brand; I wanted high quality and reliability.Of the two, I immediately found the Chums to be the better product FOR ME and the Croakie not to my liking at all. The problem I had with the Croakie was the fabric. Since it slips over the ends of the temple pieces and envelops them, the fabric sits on one's ear. I found this irritating. The fabric is soft and a bit "fuzzy". Holding it in one's had is pleasant, but for me sitting on my ears was not!Some may not find this an issue. If that is the case, then the Croakie is a good choice as it is well made, grips tightly and the length should be good for most people.

I've had these on my daily wear glasses for about nine months now. I love them. I rarely hang my glasses around my neck, but that's not what I bought them for. I got them to tighten up when I'm throwing the football, working on the truck, riding the atv's, and any other activity that may make my specs slide down my nose. These work perfect. And they're comfortable enough that I pretty much only take them off for weddings and funerals. I also ordered a pair of Chums No Tails, but they're too big for my 7 1/4 sized melon and don't cinch down tight enough. Not a problem with the Croakies. I'm out in the weather a lot, and they kind of feel like they're maybe getting a little brittle, but they still look like new. And at $6-8 a pair, I'll definitely be ordering a couple more as backups. It does look like the charcoal color is no longer available, so that's a bummer, but I'll settle for black. Shipping was fast and ordering was a breeze as always with Amazon.

They will fade after a few years of wearing them in the sun. However, they are offered at a great price and have lasted me a efw years. I recently lost my RB 4125 glasses with these attached. I have promptly replaced both.They have secured my glasses when I have fallen and while riding my motorcycle. On my bike, I was merging onto a highway and looking over my left shoulder. The wind got behind my glasses fram and blew them right off my face. I lost one pair of glasses like this, but the croakies saved the second pair!Would definitely recommend these. Enjoy!

I bought these to keep my glasses in place while Mountain Biking. They are super comfortable and work great with my thin arm glasses.

I use these on a pair of sunglasses that measure approximately 8mm at the widest point of the earpiece. It held them in place very well, until they were weakened after ~1 year of daily use and the earpieces punched through the material.If you take the croakies off with any frequency or have an earpiece wider than this, they will definitely fail sooner. The material is also like a sponge. If you wear them daily, I suggest hand washing them at least once/week.Overall I'm not a big fan, but there doesn't seem to be much better out there.
