My cat chewed through the original cord for my computers Logitech THX speakers and subwoofer. This one works perfect and was easy to install.

Been looking for awhile now and finally broke down and bought the replacement remote. I'm so glad I did, it brought my speakers back to life and sounds as good if not better than a sound bar.

It works, the knobs have a solid feel, and the cables are replaceable unlike the original control pod for the Z-2300. I had been using the original for 10+ years before I started unplugging the 1/8 inch Aux line-in a lot to switch out the input source, and after 4 months the left channel stopped working. What should have been an easy fix of replacing a cable is not possible in the original control pod as the cable is permanently attached on the pod end. But with this device, a standard 1/8 inch Aux / lime green PC audio /3.5mm TRS cable can be used (the VGA cable is replaceable too) which I recommend because this comes with a cheap Aux cable that causes occasional hum and only lasted about six months of 8 hour-a-day use &swapping input sources once a day. Overall this is a good replacement part to keep your Logitech PC stereo going.

I bought my Logitech sound system second hand, which meant the original volume knob was gross and chewed on by a dog. This replacement was perfect and worked immediatly. I am absoluetly thankful that people still provide these for those of us with DVI controllers on our home systems.

The media could not be loaded. Bought this as a replacement control because OEM ones on ebay are way overpriced ($75 used from what I saw) for a speaker system that's over 10 years old. That being said the until itself is plastic and very cheaply made, the knobs seem to be aluminum and durable. The VGA cord is nice since it separates from the unit itself. My biggest gripe come from the audio cablewhich can also be unplugged from the unit as well. Sound clarity from the bass and one of the speakers is clear, but my second speaker is very scratchy and distorted. I'm goin to buy a replacement audio cable and see if that fixes my problem. If it does I will update my review

Works just as good as the original. I’m using it on the Logitech z2200 speakers.
