Awesome shoes
These are even more minimal than previous barefoot shoes I've owned, which I like. Super comfortable, grippy, look cool. I usually wear a size 11, I got 10.5's, they fit perfect. Highly recommend these if you like barefoot shoes. I've only had these for a day, I'll update my review if they fall apart or something.

Using for Indoor Rowing
Bought these after reading a couple articles on footwear for indoor rowing. While this model wasn't specifically mentioned the 0 lift and flat bottoms were just what I needed. Keeps my feet flat and does the trick. I've got a Hydrow, but all of them are pretty much the same as to how your feet work. I don't plan on wearing these outdoors, but I've walked around in the house with them. They're light, flexible, and comfortable. I wear a 13-14, depending on the athletic shoe, and the size was just right. I'm not a no socks kind of person but they wore fine without as well as using my thick Thorlo socks. The toe box is a little wide looking, but doesn't wear/feel that way to me. I could probably get an extra pair for yard work and they'd work well. Would be a good boat shoe, too. Won't catch me running in them, though. I need a little more support and cushion. Good buy.

great shoe for the barefoot shoe crowd
I wear a size 42 in European sizing and I have a very narrow foot. The 8.5 mens shoe fit exactly right. there is enough space in it I could use a thin arch support but I am enjoying the barely there feel too much to ruin it. I am not a runner, so I can't speak to its durability for running. But it is holding up well for my activities. Please note the one star rating for support is because this shoe has no support, but I did not expect it to have any support. It's a barefoot shoe. This is the thinnest shoe I've ever owned. Merrell outdid themselves in creating a barefoot shoe. I wear it hiking shopping, walking, gardening, doing chores. It has just enough protection that I can walk outside in them but still feel everything under my feet. I particularly like the stretchy laces, they never strangle my feet. I love this shoe. It's almost like it's not there. So thin and light. It fits perfectly. If you don't have tough feet don't wear it on gravel.

Love them but they get stinky fast
Good shoe, extremely grippy when climbing, only issue is the smell. You will need to soak them in water/scent products often if you intend to wear them in any social capacity. Besides that they’re pretty good

Wide forefoot,on-the-ground perfection!
I am a size 8 wide (actual foot size) and usually size up to a 9 for my running shoes (Road- Asics Nimbus). I got these to replace a totally worn out pair of New Balance Minimus. These Merrell Vapor 4 shoes looked really, really, really wide in the product pictures and I didn't want them to look like "clown shoes" on me! In any case, I took the risk and ordered them in 9D. The shoes looked fine. The 2-D pictures do make them look wider than they actually are. Width was pleasantly snug but not tight. They did seem a little long when I first put them on, but after 12 hours of wear, I wouldn't change the size and the length is fine. If you have a normal 'svelte' foot then you could likely order to actual foot size with no issue! One thing of note is that these shoes are even quieter than my worn-in Minimus shoes, so give folks fair warning if you are moving up behind them!! I am happy to be back in Merrell shoes! p.s. they were about $20 cheaper on Amazon compared to other online outlets, and about $50 cheaper than the Minimus at my local shoe shops. I think a belly slide is in order!!

I love vapor glove 4 shoes.
*Shoe Size* I had a pair of vapor glove 2 before these and the Vapor glove 4 seems to fit the same. I wear a 10.5 or 11 depending on the shoe brand. 10.5 fits nice for me. There is a little wiggle room in the toe section, but the shoe is stable. I prefer wiggle room if the shoe is stable, so this is a plus for me. *Info for beginner minimalist shoe wearers* These shoes can be good for people who don't like arch supports or most shoes in general, but they can be uncomfortable for people who are not used to them. I only feel comfortable in these when I use my feet like hands to grip the floor. Without much arch support the arch of your foot can only absorb the impact of your walk if you grip the floor. There is a slight arch on shoes, but not much compared to other shoes. You need some strength/flexibility to grip the floor. I wore hybrid minimalist shoes with just a little bit more cushion than these before transitioning to these and that helped strengthen my feet to prepare for these. There is some effort involved for me to use these comfortably, but these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn and that makes work bearable. *Long term use review* I haven't used vapor glove 4 long enough to review them long term, but I do recommend having a second pair around to test after maybe a year or 2 max. I wore my vapor glove 2 for 4 years and I hurt my feet cause they were not working properly any more. Once I put the 4's on I could tell how bad my other pair had become, because I could grip the floor again. Once you can no longer grip the floor, you need to get a new pair or you can hurt your feet with minimalist shoes. *Unique benefits* While comfort is my favorite aspect of these shoes, they also allow me to turn or stop much easier, because I have more control in general over where I move when I grip the floor with my feet.

Not as good as previously owned Merrells
I had a pair of Trail Glove sneakers, and they were awesome. Presonally, i like the New ablanace MT10s but the current version of that sneaker is not like the older models; therye just not a good fit or feeling. So i opted for these. I beleive i got them on a sale because they were only $49, but i see the price chsnging almost daily. Anyway, these are not awesome like the trail glove of old. The midfoot is a bit loose. The toebox, beside being a weird shape, is a bit too roomy which would allow my foot slide around laterally. That means blisters. The sole is grippy as hell: i have amazing traction in snow and they hold me to the floor in the gym. The material is very thin, not as sturdy as the previous. I bought these as a replacement for some old NB OD10s and my primary use is in thr gym. I dont plan to run with them on unless its a green treadmill. Maybe a rubberized track if i can find one. But most for deadlifting and squatting. So far, i am not as impressed as i was with my old trail glove. Those sneaker lasted me 6 years of almost daily abuse in the gym. Ill update this as necessary, but just based on the fit and the way they feel, these might not last a year. My normal shoe size is an 11, and like i said the NBMT10s did not fit right and i cant see myself spending $120 on barefoot sneakers. This sneaker in an 11 is a bit loose on my feet. Ill try a thicker sock to see if it compensates for the space, but in the future ill order sizes up on the New Balance or just try to get the Trail Glove on sale..

Nice!
Comfortable. Seem to wear nicely after a couple weeks. Much more convenient on and off the 5fingers style, slightly looser fit from wide toe box. Would buy again.
