Resting Hand Splint

I was recently diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel and having A LOT of pain during the day coupled with numbness and tingling in my arm and hand. It began to impede my daily function and continued to get worse quickly. My sister who works in OT recommended a resting hand splint to sleep in. I looked at a few online and decided to try this one out. The splint is amazing. For a splint, it’s quite comfortable, has Velcro straps for your arm, hand and thumb and the base is coushy, but not hot at night. My hand never sweats while wearing and I can sleep easily with it on. Since wearing (and adjusting to an ergonomic keyboard :), I’ve had an almost complete drop off of the tingling and only a day here and there of pain. I’ve been using it for about 5 weeks. I cannot believe what a difference it has made, and has given me back so much mobility by not having to deal with daily pain and the discomfort of tingling all the way through my hand and arm. I’ve got early on set of my left hand, and will be purchasing one for the other side soon.

Was looking for a splint to keep my fingers out of my palm for my carpal tunnel symptoms and does just that. Nice, soft cover. I wish the finger pan was adjustable so I could extend them more as they are more flexed than I was wanting. Could use another cross strap along the back of my hand as my hand slips out during the night. I have long fingers with palm length of 7 1/4" and I ordered a size large. The thumb strap could be slightly lower on my thumb. I am a hand therapist so I am a bit critical. But this splint does the job.

This unit is quite comfortable. Between carpal tunnel, tendinitis, and capsalitis, my hand/wrist is rather jacked up.This unit allows the flexibility to put it on and off all throughout the day and leaves your hand in a comfortable, resting hand posture.It’s been quite helpful in my long recovery. Straps are adjustable, for the thumb as well, providing comfort that meets your needs.I’m very happy I got this one. No heat gun required; it came ready to wear.The seller is very commutative in the event you need assistance. Overall a great experience.

This is the third hand splint we've ordered. Ok yeah I know, should have learned my lesson after the second one, but gave them the benefit of recovering themselves. All three splints had the same problem, the velcro attaching/securing strap fail to stay secured after a short time. The hook portion on the velcro strap will not stay attached to the mating loop portion provided on the securing straps. The straps velcro looses its ability to attach to each other so you cannot secure the splint to your arm, hand, & thumb.My opinion is, 3 strikes your out, this is a total waste of money seek another MFG or type or splint.Oh yeah pay attention to the return policy.... 30 days, I should have read the fine print after two of them.Disappointed the MAX !!!

Not bad for the price. Give good support, good hand and wrist position, comfortable enough to sleep in.Could use more plush between hand and splint. Easy to put on one handed. Material does tend to "slide. Overall for spasticity and support not bad at all

My mom had a stroke and ended up straining her right wrist because over doing her rehab exercises. We bought a copper fit band and wrapped it, but that didn't give us the support that we needed. We then purchased this wrist support to immobilize the hand for a couple days. This product has four straps that can. one around the thumb one at the top of the hand and two around the wrist. This is a very nice feature because it allowed us to tighten it around her wrist (she has lost weight and the wrist area, as it gains strength can swell which allowed us to loosen it. This is a great feature. It is comfortable and she doesn't think about moving it when it's on. She didn't like that the finger area curved so much, but it does put it in a position that relaxes the hand.

This is a good brace . It’s well structured, light weight and made of good materials structure wise , however the Velcro is horrible and the straps come undone constantly and my mom can not wear this as she has to ask every 15-30 mins to restrap the Velcro as it has poor ,poor holding capabilities. Very dissatisfied due to this one crucial flaw . Like having a nice car with square wheels rendering it pretty much useless. I’m ordering safety pins so as to not be out 35$ , please fix this problem for other buyers in the future. You have a good product with Velcro that does not hold the brace on properly. No one likes to have to fix things that should work properly with such an easy solution. Pay a few more pennies for Velcro that actually works when manufacturing a product for disabled people and injured people or in general for that matter .

I loved this on my first night. My symptoms of numb fingers, pain in my hands, etc was progressing after a difficult few months at work. However, I developed an ache specifically in my palm near the thumb during the day. Came to realize that the size medium was a bit too big for me to use. Sad to be returning as there is no size small.Quality is excellent and sturdy. It offered instant relief until the size and position of the palm area started to hurt me.
