Ubiquiti Networks UFiber Low-Cost GPON Optical Network Unit (UF-Loco)

Es perfecto porque tiene varios perfiles compatibles con varios tipos de OLTs. Funciona con Movistar Colombia sin problemas.

I do not like renting internet gear from the ISP. For me, it is cheaper to just buy my own gear. We just got fiber optic cable on my street and I bought the Ubiquiti UF-Loco for my “cable modem” and connected it to my existing Wi-Fi Router. It works great!

Recently moved to an area with fiber, so I thought I'd try this since I've built out my network infrastructure with Ubiquiti equipment. Unfortunately, I was not able to get this to work with Centric.

Had to return simply because I could not make it work with windstream fiber

Tuve que guardar el dispositivo ya que no puedo configurar la tv. Sí es para una sola vlan te funciona muy bien. Ubiquiti prometió hace unos años atrás que iba a implementar el multicast, pensé que ya en estos tiempos con los nuevos firmware ya eso estaría listo, pero no.

i can not access the WebUI of this Loco by the default setting out of the box, following the quick start guide form Ubiquiti does not help while it should by default. Contact the support but no help. Totally junk for more then 50 bucks , now it is a brick on top of paper on my desk

Seemed like a great product unboxing it. Not entirely strait forward of a setup process unfortunately. I was not able to get this to work as an Optical Network Terminal. Extremely little help from their setup manuals with troubleshooting and customizing this to what you need it to do.

I bought it thinking it might work with Blue Stream fiber, but it doesn’t. Blue stream only has one type of fiber ONT that works with their system!

Ha llegado en perfecto estado, caja original y el producto en perfectas condiciones. Lo he instalado y ya está funcionando correctamente. Todo perfecto.

I brought this to replace the Huawei GPON, the only issue I faced is that it required to change the serial number of the device in order to get a connection from the ISP. Overall the connection had been stable as a difference of with the Huawei Echolife GPON that I was looking my internet at least 4-8 times daily. I managed to change the SN using a third-party tool, but it takes a bit of research, so it defeats the purpose of having this.

Die Einrichtung ist sehr simpel und einfach. Es funktioniert einwandfrei und sieht auch sehr modern aus. In der Oberfläche sowie das Gerät selbst.

War ziemlich stark gebraucht aber hat noch funktioniert

Me costó un montón configurarlo, ya estaba a punto de devolverlo, pero al final mi paciencia me salvó. Viene defectuoso, no se si de fábrica o porque es de segunda mano de alemania. Para poder entrar en la web del 198.162.1.1 normalmente hay un usuario, pero es imposible con ese y dándole al botón de reset, que por cierto es bastante difícil porque es super chiquitín... bueno, la cosa es que no se resetea. Al final no se en qué web, video, foro... vi a alguien que decía que la forma de resetear era apretando el botón de reset 30 segundos, dejarlo apretado, apagar el dispositivo y encenderlo con el botón de reset apretado, entonces SÍ que se resetea y ya funciona el usuario y la contraseña para poder meter los datos. En ese momento ya es super fácil, yo quité un router de orange y me puse esta ont con un tplink archer ax73 y vuela.
